Eventhough everyone say that Lan Zhan waited for Wei ying 13 years but how can you say he waited? He knew he wouldn't come back from the death cause he choose it for himself. Lan zhan inquired just to know if his wei ying is finally at peace or not. Maybe he wanted to confess. More than waiting he did was longing for his love. He regretted his every memory that he didn't stand beside wei ying. He was punishing himself for not trusting his soulmate.
No one probably cares anymore, but he isn't dead simply because he knows that A-Xu will not stay alive if he is gone. Zhou already proved that, basically killing himself after thinking Kexing was gone. There is a theory that Baiyi pranked them because this manual only works if both sides love each other. That's why it didn't work for him and Xuan's mother. She loved her late husband and died during the cultivation. And to be fair: the way Baiyi is in the series it's pretty much his style not telling Kexing both of them will survive to see if he still would do it. Obviously, in the novel it's a whole other story and both are alive, happy and driving their disciple to madness with their fights about who will be the top...
as much as I absolutely love Wangxian, I don't recycle songs! I have to listen to it so much when making these that by the end I get tired of it 😅 I also pick each song deliberately for each couple so this is already cemented as a Wenzhou song in my brain
@@artemisonhigh I respect that <3 I also have songs that I associate with certain danmei couples. Like "Your Guardian Angel" by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus for Hualian & "Fix You" by Coldplay for Wangxian. I think "My tears are becoming a sea" by M83 would work for a lot of danmei couples. "Papercut" by Linkin Park would work well for Wei Wuxian or Xie Lian when they're in the throes of madness. "Broken Crown" by Mumford & Sons would work for them too.
Ahhh I love this drama so much, Noey has also become one of my favourite characters of all time!! He is such a weirdo but literally gets away with via confidence. This was such a soft edit for them, and gave me all the feelings 💕

Hia Lian, who is already aware of all of Kueas secret passions, spends his time trying to encourage Kuea into allowing himself to be open and honest, so that he can see he is completely loved already.

Wow this was amazing. I love the parallels from the past and the present and the journey of Cake's steadily deepening feelings. The song choice was also immaculate. Loved it!

I am SCREAMING this was so good. Loved this focus on Cake and how he's shown care for Eiw their entire lives, and how that never really changed, only his awareness around it changes (and his confidence in Eiw's feelings). The colouring is so nostalgic, the amount of cuddles included is A++ excellent, and the inclusion of Cake's iconic English confession as voiceover was so well done. I want to wear this edit as a blanket. Love love love this 💕
