ikr!! It's one of my favourite moments during that arc. Every Wangxian video I've made (I have more not quite done) I always end up putting that "come back" line in even though I usually try not to over use the same quotes 😂😂 it just hurts so good I guess 😪 Thank you for your comment!

I love it too and what makes it even worse is that what he actually says in Chinese is "回来吧" (huí lái ba), and the "ba" part is hard to explain but it's a colloquial particle used at the end of sentences to make the tone of the sentence "softer", and basically it's more informal than how Lan Zhan usually talks/how he talks to anyone else. It's just a small difference but to me it really shows their bond, like how comfortable Lan Zhan feels around Wei Ying, and also in this scene in particular how he's going out of his comfort zone in a way in terms of speaking (which the Lan rules are strict about, as with everything) in order to get Wei Ying to come back. You can also see how concerned he is, and how this is something important enough that he allows himself to break out of his normal shell, just from how he's expressing his emotions more too in this scene. Wow I didn't expect that to be so long. 😂 This has been today's over analysis of two seconds of an episode in a drama.🙌 But hey it also shows how much work the whole cast and crew put into making it so well to make us feel these emotions! ❤💚 ~:~

I think even though non Chinese speakers may not grasp the significance of the words used, Yibo did such a great job at acting it that you can feel the intention regardless 😭😭

It's not only political but also coming from the fanatic "fans" who can't distinguish their reality from others and imagine their life or even believe that Yibo or Zhan belongs to them and they are not allowed to be happy with someone. That's why they threatened to commit suicide if the two babies would be together. So the companies they signed with don't want to loose fans money and forbid them to act and be together. We live in a crazy world. 😥

Sadly if people are that delusional, maybe they should be in an institution where they cannot harm themselves or the actors. Why should other peoples lives be dictated by another person to the detriment of those people. Isn't it that same thing...harming two people so they do not harm themselves? When do we stop allowing people to go too far and take accountability for actions? If their family and agencies cannot get them help and they do the unimaginable and leave this world, the actors as individuals are not to blame. They are just doing a job and trying to be decent people. To put this on the actors is several ways of wrong. So sad for these gentle artists.
