Dude. I’ve been fighting with that F03 code for months now. I just cleaned it step by step like you explained! Lifesaver thanks a lot ! Now it’s drying like the Sahara desert
I don't know what year you have I have a 2002 Odyssey. Clunking into gears and the torque converter appears to be completely shot but I'm able to manually shift it. No third gear went out and I Am shifting first to second and then I jump up to D. If I drive very carefully it seems to be okay for the time being because this is the only vehicle I have.
Bmw 550i 4.8 with this mod both sensors throw no activity codes and the voltage stays at .4 constantly, there is also a consistent heater circuit code on both (heater wires ohm test ok), reverted back to stock and back to a 420 and 430
Not sure if anything will work on this vehicle ive been through o2 simulators, non foulers, relocating the o2, and 90 degree spacers(smoke tested no exhaust leaks btw)
One thing i cant wrap my head around if anyone can explain, why did this mod turn my voltage graph from switching to flat line? It should have just spaced out the switch in voltage(again back to stock and back to switching fast)
I have a blk power+ and the signal grey - others are white heater wires so my signal wire is - do i still put the resistor on that one or how can i connect this
This hack doesnt fix anything. Instead of cobbling the car why not read and perform the actual p0420 diagnostics? The code can be set due to many other normal maintenance issues. Just follow the repair manual.
I decided to go with Valvoline synthetic. $26 at Walmart. I got that information from Reading several Odyssey forums. Also Aisin synthetic is recommended. Thanks about 3 1/2 QTs. I'll be doing the total of four flushes. Follow up: I did the four flushes and it didn't make any difference and now my third year is out completely. I was able to drive it home on the highway I had to pull over and think about what I was going to do I decided to try shifting manually 1st and 2nd and then jumping up to D. It seemed to work okay I'm going to try that for a while because it's my only vehicle I have.
Anyone done this in a prius i have a 2011 ive replaced the bank 1 o2 sensor 3x it has an intermittent problem ive used denso replacement its got 4wires i have no idea about electronics any help would greatly be appreciated thank you
I have a 2002 Odyssey that's slamming into second and third gear a little bit so I accelerate very lightly. I'm going to start this weekend pulling off solenoids. I was also given advice to manually shift and let up between each gear. I tried it and is very precarious trying to be exact and not overshooting the gear the shift lever moves all over. I think it was "The car guy" that gave me the advice on RU-vid.
i was so mad at mine till is aw this video and then i just sat there lookin at my microwave and was like... BULLSHIT its that simple....then i wiggle the door and it started.... i jsut walked away shaking my head. This was the fix : /
i have a damaged 02 sensor from dragging on road. basically bc of rust, it blew out my o2 sensor from exhaust pipe and left a hole, and dragged on road until i unplugged. i patched hole in exhaust but never connected anything else. what should i do ? can i make a circuit type thing with just the connector and wires i cut from the bad o2 sensor? same configuration you did but what abount the ends of the wires that would have gone to the sensor?
like basically i cut the sensor off and kept the pigtail plug harness, and definitely can do your circuit but i threw out the bad o2 sensor so im just trying to figure out how to manage the 2 heater wires to simulate it as if I was using an old o2 sensor. would connecting 2 resistors in parallel to each heater wire work? i don't remember everything from my circuits class 10 years ago lol. anyways thanks for the good video regardless. Maybe i can find an 02 diagram for my vehicle that shows the inside heater wires but not luck so far
I have 2007 Honda Oddyssey EXL smooth shifting gear but has D blinking with VSA light on! I’ve changed the safety switch sensor, pressure sensor and still have the same issue! Now I have P0340, P0344 codes which is the camshaft sensor that I’m about to replace. A transmit ion specialist told me that my transition is fine so I have to change the camshaft sensor first. Any idea about the D blinking with VSA light on? You think changing the camshaft sensor will fix that and what should I do if the issue still exist after changing the camshaft sensor? Thanks in advance
I started my fault tracing at the top and worked downwards on a WTE84012 GB model. So there was two sizes of torx used and what you showed was almost identical in the pump bay design. My issue was accumulated damp flock; small fibres normally filtered in the two prior stages but now forming a damp mat around the whole of that sump floor and access ports. Just about to partially rebuild the pump unit, side panel, maybe front fascia and not lid with an aim of verifying the pump still abates and shifts water onto the removable drainage tray.
THANK YOU! I just now used your excellent advice (love that key card trick) to open and clean out that wet and gunky compartment -- for the second time (we do a lot of laundry loads in our home!). FYI: I was having difficulty using a class/cup to get rid of water and gunk, so I just used my fingers to scrape up as much as I could, and then some absorbent rags to sop up the remaining water. Total time: under 10 minutes 🙂 All the best!
After about the third ignition cycle the code will come back with extensions it's a waste of time and money put the resistor in or replace replace your cat The wanted failing and be done with it
I have 1997 Honda Odyssey medium not the biggest> I accidentally put the gear in reverse while in motion. It gave a sharp noise but I could keep drivinge it forward but if I engage the reverse it keeps giving a sharp and hard noise and it doesn't move in reverse. What is your recommendation, please?
Thanks for the video. Having a really hard time pulling out the sump pump up and out, even holding the plastic thumb lever as hard as possible - any suggestions?
