you haven't made a video in 6 months, I think. But I understand. I think you talked about this once, in an earlier video. Look at the market now. Most comics except the older ones, are not worth it and are expensive and do not have the beauty or art or good stories that many older comics have. There are a lot of salesmen, false collectors and scammers that up the price of many things just based on SPECULATION. For young people who want to start getting into comic books, especially young kids, ITS IMPOSSIBLE. they don't have that kind of money.
It looks like we were collecting the same books off the newsstands! Im the opposite of you. When i buy them slabbed i crack the out! 😅 i like your idea of getting back your childhood comics.
I always love seeing your awesome collection! I know you put a little of sweat, blood and tears finding these issues! I'm like you. I stopped going to bigger comic shows because in today's market they are not only a waste of time but by the time you get in you've spent enough money to buy a killer book for the collection. The DD #1 is my favorite of the video.
Low grade comics are usually the only way I can read golden age, silver age, and bronze age. As long as it has a cover and no pages are missing I’m happy with it.

I was shocked and delighted to find that little DCU run. I was hoping there'd be more, but still cool. Dropping a stack of books is the WORST! When I do that, I'm mad for about a day. 😖
Always great hauls Chris, love the DCU’s. I was collecting somewhat similar. Buying 9.8’s of my favorite Bronze Age covers as a kid but they started to get expensive for non key 9.8 Bronze books. Keep up the great vids brotha
Rob, that's the thing that kills me about bronze age. If it's something we want for sentimental value, we have to really pay up for it. Good example for me is Wolverine 1 (first limited series). I want a 9.8 newsstand, but NO WAY I can afford to pay what that thing's going for right now.
