I was a student at OU on track scholarship in 1975 . The fraternities would have parties on the campus so I headed to Wazuri lounge ( black Peoples Students Union) the Q’s were having their party. It was school night and the place was packed. Then I heard Stop On by it was Chaka Khan. The music was bouncing off the walls. Everybody there was having a good time. I was growing up in the 80s admiring and listening to these guys called the New Edition. Others are : musical youth , Five Star , kool & Gang , Micheal Jackson , Midnight Star , Tina Turner. These were my everything i liked in music world back then.
