What is better Black Max or Max Z the difference between the two is $20 only is it worth the money ⁉️ I think one of the two. My son wife likes the Black Max but I think the MAX Z is all the max line is all the same 🤔 or the Max X all under $80
The Size #7 is my go to when things are tough. I also like the size #9 to get deep. I also fish the #9 very slow in winter because it gets down deep and gets strikes when nothing else it working.
Love your videos please keep it up!!! I am ill so it’s hard to get my boat out so at times I just have to go out with you!!! I make my own baits they look great most of them have caught fish one of my lipless has caught a 61/2 lb hardest part is my spiritual life!!!
Thank you for the in depth analysis. My dad sent me this as a gift yesterday. I can't wait to test it out. What line would you recommend for this set up?
Man the first time I used a model A my friend told me that the baits work great but I needed to change the hooks before we got to the lake. That being said I didn’t have any better hooks so went with what came with the bait. We found a spot where the bass were destroying our baits. I hooked into a true giant ranging from 9 to 11 pounds and the lure came flying back and hit me in the chest. I was shocked. My friend yells over to ne and says man I told you to put better hooks on it ! I quickly looked and sure enough the back hooks were straighten out. Smh 🤦♂️. Since then I use the baits but definitely change the hooks out with better hooks. I’ve caught some really good bass on these baits. Biggest so far was a 7 1/2 pounder. Like one of the other guys mentioned in other comments I use a reel, stop, reel retrieval. Great baits.
I use the skitter pop on rainbow trout and I've caught so many fish that the only other lure I use is the original floating minnow, which I've also caught tons of fish with.
I started fishing Bomber Fat Free series crank baits this year. I have caught more Bass and Flathead Cats than ever. Great action and the fish love them.
Growing up in northern MN, Rapala has been a household name and I’m a junky for this lure. I have caught plenty of bass on them and probably could’ve caught them on other lures too, but I love the way this one behaves. Sweeping this thing to few the vibe, and then picking up slack between, is my favorite way to deal this thing. BOX IT!
I spooled it with 8 LB test mono for lighter lures, gave it some practice casts and found that it did cast well ru-vid.comUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e , except that the anti-backlash setting had to be turned up almost all of the way to keep the "overcasts' ' down. I disassembled it, and found that if I potted some "shim washers" behind that anti-backlash magnet assembly, it got the magnets closer to the spool without rubbing, and I could get better control with about a 6 to 7 out out 10-Max setting. I also noticed that the handle shaft had some internal end play, maybe only 2 or 3 thousands of an inch, but it's still noticeable. If the anti-backlash and shaft tolerances were "tightened up" this would be a fantastic value. I've only used it for 4 days of fishing in a month's time, but I plan on keeping it.
I love the rod but I’ve had 2 of the reels and they were completely different the one I have now I can cast a country mile on 10 breaks it’s not really great at skipping or pitching short distances always a minor backlash. And the handles are so small but it’s cool I guess😂
I just started out with the black max and I love it! It’s fun to use but with light lures I don’t know if it’s just me for starting off but I’m having a hard time with light lures but with heavy lures I have a better time with them. With the light lures I cast it and it barely casts but with heavier lures I don’t have a problem?Does anyone have a tips or anything to help me with this problem?
The yappa mouse/rat is the best working of the yappa series. The frog and the bug are almost useless. I actually think you guys are being generous in your review. Its functionality is terrible. You can catch fish on anything, literally, but they don't work as they are marketed to do so. The frog is the worst, the bug is okay but frustrating because it dives under the water without fail. But the mouse works as intended. Great video👍
Just bought a field and stream eagle talon 12 the other day from a local woman and she also gave me this fish finder so I figured I’d watch a video on it to see how good it works and all I have to say is this is the best video there is for this product it actually shows someone using it as intended instead of just sitting down and reading the instructions like I already did lol. Amazing video thank you
I have tried it in my fiancés family pond and I can confirm that it shows thick patches of grass/ weeds as rocks. So it’s not 100% accurate but for the money it absolutely blows my mind
Great review of this gun. I own one myself and really enjoy shooting it. I like the fact that you guys reviewed it and didn’t compare it to very high end guns. Basically you weren’t snobby about it that’s for sure.
