While movies with horror, science fiction, and fantasy elements are the dominant focus here, we'll also post non-genre material (including TV clips, commercials, musical shorts) that will hopefully be of interest...and fun to watch.

Wish there was more Jerry Bishop. :( Rich Koz did a great job of filling in Jerry's shoes for almost a decade; but then he caved in to the audience not wanting "interruptions" of humor. That pretty much killed the atmosphere of humor Rich had labored hard on.
This was the monster in the first of my 6 (formerly) recurring nightmares. Trying to escape the family home from upstairs, can see it coming, but I'm moving as if underwater... 😮 Good stuff!! 😅
Yeah I know- late to the game Carol and several other corn stars of the day appeared on the g*ng show. The one I remember most besides Carol was Robin Cannes, mainly because of her especially lush "hair" . IIRC she walked out once in a totally transparent outfit before she could be halted. Very impressive
HIS TALENT WAS "OFF THE CHARTS!" 👏👑👏👑👏👑👏 THERE IS NO REASON I CAN PERCEIVE THAT HE COULDN'T HAVE MIMICKED ANY MALE SHOW BUSINESS FIGURE. PERHAPS HE HAD JIMMY DURANTE, "FATS" DOMINO, FRANK SINATRA, DICK HAYMES, LOUIS ARMSTRONG, ARTHUR PRYSOCK, JERRY LEE LEWIS, ELVIS PRESLEY, JACKIE WILSON AND BROOK BENTON IN HIS REPERTOIRE. 🎵🙏🎵🙏🎵🙏🎵
You can really tell how much George Burns enjoyed vaudeville when they did this bit. He was the one out of the three with the most experience with this type of act (Jack Benny did various acts, like a classier act playing violin with a pianist and making his name as a monologuist, with Burns being a dancer, a part of musical acts, and comedian with various partners until he teamed with Gracie Allen.)
looking at the clip....it is Beragon....well, at least the head of the Beragon costume! And this is a Korean film? The Gamera films are Toho (Japanese) I believe?
The moment I saw the movie poster, my first thought was he looks like Beragon, the monster that fought Gamera. But Yongary walks upright....unless he came up against Gamera😂
0:07- Great, he's gonna fight Spider-Man, isn't he? 0:24- TV repair man turned detective, and part-time porn actor on the side. Keep it kinky 1960s style. 0:38- I'm not sure Jerry can go undercover. 1:04- You know what they say. One thing leads to another, and you head gets stuck in a fish. 1:47- And Ace Ventura is born. 1:58- If I'm ever killed, I hope my murder is solved just like this. I have the feeling it'll be at the hands of possessed Stephen King machinery.
KRONOS is one of the best sci-fi B-movies made in the 1950s. In wide-screen black & white CinemaScope (Regalscope). Jeff Morrow said this was one of his favorite films, as Dr. Leslie Gaskell of Lab Central (fictional version of Cal Tech in Pasadena). Barbara Lawrence is well cast as his lab assistant Vera, who is good with the side-eye. George O'Hanlon is on hand as the computer scientist nerd, with the computer S.U.S.I.E. that takes up an entire room. John Emery as the Lab Central Director who becomes the bad guy human interface with the robotic intelligence of KRONOS, directing the giant robot to nuclear stockpiles and sources of energy like electric power plants. And Morris Ankrum as psychologist Dr. Albert R. Stern, getting fried on a high voltage transformer livens things up. The film has three famous TV newscasters in it to add some realism to the media coverage - Baxter Ward, Ted Meyers, and Lee Giroux. The special visual effects are amazing for its time and limited budget, although uneven (with some being excellent and others poorly done). And the music score by Paul Sawtell and Bert Shefter is excellent, along with the modern title graphics. There was a lot of stock footage used in the film. Jeff Morrow said this movie only cost about $100,000. to produce. It is far better than many other low-budget cheapies. I highly recommend you buy the Wade Williams DVD. It's a great popcorn movie!
