Since 1980, Make-A-Wish® has given hope, strength, and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions. From our humble beginnings, we've evolved into an organization that grants a child's wish in the United States and its territories every 38 minutes.
Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida began in 1986 and has offices in Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee and throughout Central and Northern Florida.
Just like each child, each wish is unique. Make-A-Wish aims to provide strength, hope, transformation, and a sense of community.
Strength - Research shows a wish can give kids the strength to fight against and even overcome a critical illness.
Hope - A wish renews hope, uplifts spirits, and encourages the belief in the impossible.
Transformation - A wish forever transforms the lives of children, their families, and entire communities.
Community - A wish unites neighbors, friends, and entire communities in life-changing experiences.
Prayers to this little sweetie and her lovely family. As someone w/ brain cancer I can relate to the being poked & prodded. Hope she recovers! God is so good. He will make a way for Iris & her wonderful family 😊 bless! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations Cole! The MAW Foundation is near and dear to my heart. My only child, my son Marco Antonio was a MAW recipient many years ago, and was featured with Chuck Norris, Walker Texas Ranger TV show. Marco was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. He lived till 32. We also met the founder of MAW, years ago, Mr. Frank Shankowitz. Netflix has a movie Wish Man [2019], the story of how he started it. I'm presently working at HCHS in the ESE program as a long term sub. I will just close by saying you are in my prayers. God bless...
I persevere and thrive on adversity. My Nation expects me to be physically harder and mentally stronger than my enemies. If knocked down, I will get back up, every time. I will draw on every remaining ounce of strength to protect my teammates and to accomplish our mission. I am never out of the fight.
The fact that a group of the most lethal and precise men on the planet will drop everything they could be doing to help a child is the reason I have hope for this world
😀😀😀😀I have special needs and I'm developmentally delayed which means that I learned so rather than the kids and teenagers my age and I have hearing loss in my left ear and I have hearing aids at school but I don't use them which kind of sucks but I'm pretty used to it by now I love this video a lot because even though you struggle with stuff you have the strength to get back up and try again that's what I've been doing this when I was little I had tons of surgeries growing up and I got one I think when I was nine because my hole in my ear was was like bothering me so I had to get a patch in my ear and and a surgery with with my belly because I had like and the Mickey so yeah I've been struggling a lot but I got to learn to stand tall and Stand My Ground instead of letting people I control my life I want to have fun and be myself.😀😀😀😀😳😳😳😳
