Thank you for sharing. This was both interesting and very educational. I have a family member that went through this, and I'm happy I'm able to learn and understand more. It's amazing what our bodies can carry us through, and I'm so glad to hear you are proud of your body even after the hard experiences and changes you've faced. It can be hard to watch wounds and scars, but they are part of our story and are nothing to be ashamed of. You are beautiful.
I go thru my first round of Chemo Therapy starting tomo morning and I'm frickin SCARED bruhh!!... And are you wearing a wig?! Or did you just NOT lose ANY hair for your Chemo?!.. Cuz i'm also scare that I'm gunna lose my beard and hair onto of my head too... Oh yeah, AND my VELUPTUOUS chest hair as well HAHAHAHAHA.. 😅😅😅 SORRY SORRY SORRY 😅😭😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 I just HAD to give myself a good laugh there.. But UUUUGHH I'm so scared man!! I really really am! UUUGHH!! 😢😢😭😭😭... Fuuuuugg bro!! I'm only 36yrs old too.. So, ANOTHER frickin reason to be scared!! Ughh!!
I didn't lose my hair until after two weeks, and yes you lose your hair from head to toe (even your nose hairs!) After I lost my hair, I did wear a wig when I went out in public.
Thank you for sharing this, I have recently decided to have the DIEP and waiting on surgery date. This has been a decision that has taken me a long time to decide on as the other option was to have an implant. When I consulted with my surgeon on the DIEP, he explained that there is an increased risk of complications with an implant due to my lymphadema. Even though the recovery makes me nervous, I feel the DIEP is the right decision for me.
I thought I wanted diep flap reconstruction on my left side. I’m not so sure now. I’ve had four major surgeries and two procedures in 2023 and just can’t imagine going thru more at this time. Thank you, thank you for sharing your photos. It’s so helpful.
I waited four years because our bodies go through much already when diagnosed with cancer. I'm glad I waited to make sure it was the right decision and to give my body time to heal.
I live in Germany and I didnt get good medical care after my breast OP , my breastprothesis doesnt fit at all. Bur my health insurance doesnt pay for an individual one...
One of my mother's breast has been removed. I ordered a prosthesis for her but we are facing a problem. The real breast hangs while the prosthesis remains up intact in the bra. May you please help me know how do I bring them on the same level?

Omg. This made me cry. It took me back to the call and hearing the words and feeling like I was out of my body having the phone conversation and not even noticing that I was crying till a tear dropped off my face and then my voice started to crack. Trying my best to not fall apart before hanging up the phone.

My insurance paid for mines. I love them which is why I have decided against reconstruction. As long as I have something up there, Im good. Lol. No more surgeries for me. These are the absolute best and make my shirts look lovely and sexy.
