I have gone from 4x4 inch to 5x7 inch plus digitizing for myself. Digitizing is so much fun! I haven't put any designs up for sale yet. Fear of rejection, I guess. It's my only hope for getting the bigger hoop and more needles I yearn for.

@@neilvectis hi, no I can’t say I have but if you are having issues with this sounds like either the needles aren’t in straight or, in your machine settings you can set it to leave longer thread tails when it’s performing trims so the needle shouldn’t unthread

Hi, from Michigan, USA!! I appreciate your videos so much. You explain everything so well and are not a gatekeeper, which is so awesome! My question is what type of felt do you use on your patches when you're not using these methods? I like stiffened felt, however, I haven't found it in yardage. Only sheets and that's kind of costly. Do I need to use stiff felt or can I use regular felt that is just a little thicker?
@pinkbirdembroidery8281
@pinkbirdembroidery8281 25 дней назад
Hello! Thank you for your comment you're very kind :) I just use regular, polyester craft felt. I'm always swapping suppliers and usually have to purchase it in rolls of 50 meters to keep the cost down, but found ebay to be the cheapest supplier when not purchasing in bulk. Personally, I think the thinner the felt the better as it makes the patches more flexible and easier to iron on. But currently I'm using 2mm thick felt which is thicker than I would like, but it still works.

Hi! Can I ask you a question? Since Im really interested in t-shirt printing with sticker (DTF), but I don’t which printer machine is suitable for the beginner or starter, as I saw your video, do you use printer Canon Pro 200 to print the sticker, then using it with heat press? Im about to find a printer that can print the sticker (DTF) with budget. Thanks in advance
@pinkbirdembroidery8281
@pinkbirdembroidery8281 Месяц назад
Hi, thank you for your comment. No I don't use my Canon Pro 200 to print DTF, the Canon is an inkjet printer you need to purchase a dedicated DTF printer to make the DTF Prints. I have no idea which printer to recommend as I've not done any research on them but a few I've seen online range between £2000 - £30,000 so at that price range it was easier for me to buy prints off someone else and have them delivered to my house rather than invest in the printer. The prints cost between £8.99 - £11.99 per meter depending on how much I order which worked out more cost effective for me as I do not do a lot of DTF printing.

@@tdodo3026 hi! I actually started with Brother PR655 (The 6 needle) and then after a lot of research bought a Happy Japan 12 needle. For all the information I recommend checking out one of my earliest videos (happy Japan v brother) I know in this conversation we are comparing Happy to other industrial machines not Brother which is more a hobbyist machine but the video addresses why I went for Happy. I mainly picked Happy because they have a lot on engineers in the UK so there is plenty of support, also because their machines are more compact and home business friendly while still retaining all the features of larger industrial machines.

It might be cool to print your artwork, then embroider some standing monocolor lace that matches your artwork, but only focuses on texture and lace pattern, and then combine the two. Like say for example a semi-3D version of your goldfish in a bag or those giant highly detailed back patches you make
