This is really awesome man. i have been trying to figure out how to use my markers for graffiti pieces and this is the best tutorial of the sort. Do you have tutorials of how to make a graffiti piece ? (structurally) thank you :)
Thank you so much for the testing on different paper, including printer paper, to compare how it can dissolve! The paper does make the difference, even with the good quality color pencil!
I need some help with the arm of the winter soldier. If we can correspond that would be great. I'll share my work with you so we can discuss but it would really be helpful. Thank you.
Ah, I didn't know they'd stopped making them but it doesn't surprise me. When they came out everyone thought they were like an alcohol marker-type and were a bit surprised to find they were nothing like it, really! It's a shame because with soooo many alcohol markers out there, there's definitely room to try something new.
So I'm just starting out with alcohol markers. I primarily paint or draw but I thought it would be nice to learn. My biggest issue is the blotchiness and I've looked all over for advice and everyone contradicts everyone else as far as this goes so I'm really struggling not to just give up with alcohol markers. I tried this method as well as another similar one, the "circular" method and I have the same issue with this weird texture, like this grainy effect and I was wondering if you know what I'm doing wrong? Also, I was wondering if you have another method to where I wouldn't go through as much ink as with this. I got the promarkers as a birthday gift and I don't really want to go through them all just trying to learn since they're pretty expensive. I do have a set of these Memoffice ones that are super cheap, but I'd prefer not to go through that much ink if possible because I'm not using these for commission work (just trying to learn). Any other advice would be immensely appreciated. Thank you
Alrighty, not something you probably remember seeing as this was almost a decade ago when you did this, but are all these colors found in the 12 pen set for 39 bucks, or the 48 pen set for 100?
Good question! I really don't know as they've been through some changes since then. They have newer packs now with different colour combos. It probably worth looking at what each pack offers now, before you jump in 👍
I have had a very weird experience…I have to tell you about it. I bought these to try because a friend came over with her little travel watercolour set and painted one of my roses. Then I was having a meeting at my science institute about our new project (molluscs related), we found your mussel picture and wanted to ask permission to use it as our project photo on the website and so it took me to your you tube video and this one, where I see it’s about those markers and I thought that’s funny I just bought those!!! Very very odd happening. Where can I contact you about permission questions to maybe use one of your photos? 😊 greetings from Germany! Marianne
I was just gifted the set of 60 for Mother's day by my daughter. Thank you for your two tutorials on them. ❤ Would like to see you come out of RU-vid retirement and see what else you have for us.😊😊😊
Awww, what a lovely comment! I'm working full-time now and between that and family, I just don't get a lot of time for youtube 😔 it's lovely to know you still like the videos and they are useful ❤
no a big fan of blue and red... but the oulines... in yellowish.... and the white highlights ....gave ME another perspective...!!!! very nice work mate...! greetings from a german 90s guy!!! very nice piece man (ps not that is matters, but since the mid 90s i really did like COPICS..., never dealt with the promarkers...) but i'll give it a shot!!!! again very NICE !!! make some quid with your stuff~~ hehe
Just bought 13 of these in open stock. They are great, and have nice transparency. I got one museum caran dache pencil for comparasion, and this pencil is much more opaque. In my begginers oppinion, it seems like it is worth it to invest in both, as they are very different, but great in their own ways, if you like variation. I've heard that you don't need a huge amont of colors, for this materials, so you don't have to spend a lot o money (since this kind of material blend very well, in comparasion to dry pencils)
Hi, I would always say to just get the colours you NEED! Yup, it's nice to have a box full of colours but many of them lay in the tin... unused over time 🥺😆
@@gee355Art yeah, and I can save money for some dry pencils as well. I am thinking of only buying 24 to 48 pencils per brand or kind, as I am prefering to use mixed media. Have a nice day!😃
