Candiru-Asu, live in the Amazon, & fill a body before it dies; any recovered victims can't recieve the medical care they need since the fish will remain inside of them eating while the entry-hole is too small to remove them, they all enter from the same hole, by the dozens: all thats left is a loose fish-filled skin with bones still inside.
Fellow spec bio fan here You have some really compelling stuff here The art is beautiful and unique If I may make a suggestion though, the animals shown here could give off a more artic cold weather vibe if they had shorter limbs/bigger rounder bodies It minimizes surface area and generally helps keep animals warm
No joke, I would read a manga where the protagonist is a normal slayer and where every fight with a dragon, regardless of which one, is well planned and prepared and, even so, he can get screwed, of course every manga needs to have an evolution , but you can do this without getting ridiculous, he can find an ancient ruin that hides methods to tame dragons (eggs) or something like that. I say this without knowing if something like this already exists, and yes, I think too much
I love this beast a lot, damn is it fascinating to observe. I have made thunder dragons of my own but they are far more like weasels than electric eels, mostly cause I envision them using their electrical energy to boost muscle activity in order to make up for the energy demands required by such beasts. Doesn’t help that their body is highly insulated (to protect from its own electricity and that of others) meaning that when it discharges, it releases highly concentrated bolts of ionised air. With saliva or other body fluids including toxins they collect from their meals to create noxious clouds to stun and weaken small prey or hinder larger prey. Though they are a whole subfamily compared to the tassled (many are semi-aquatic and in the water act like electric eels due to their long bodies and tails making it harder for them to swim fast)
I loved Curious archives video covering the codex but after following the series I realize his video although great did not do the codex justice in comparison to your series
Will it be alright if I extracted the Hullbreaker's vocals in this video and post it dubbing "Hullbreaker sounds"? Or are there already the vocals being posted else where?
Now this is a Intresting diraction to take the concept of a dragon, very unique, so many of your dragons take the concept of dragons is such cool and interesting diractions
HOLLY BLOODY!!! You make like the D&D Dark Dragon looking like a Funky Alligator in comparison with your GutButcher! Great Mythical references from other Swamp Draconics attributing their poisonous qualities to a more Scientifically Speculative approach! Simply Grimdark Groovy! And P.S. Congratulations on the record and growth of the channel! Yay!
There was a legend in my town of the barrenator pig, a runaway feral rat or guinea pig or a rodent that would jump out of the toilet while you were pooping and spin like a drill and go into your butt. That made me fear toilets for a while as a kid; seeing this now, I literally felt a chill or "primal" terror in my spine.
A smaller dragon that is worse then most of the bigger ones, yep just keep a eye on everything. The swamp with those things,I'd rather go to the scarlet lasher forest.
I think the best armour for defending against these dragons would be mail. the flexibility allows it to cover areas like the crotch, abdomen and armpits, which I think would be the most likely areas of attack for a gutbutcher. now this would give them more purchase to cling onto, but as for wether it can breat through steel rings, we use those when dealing with sharks, and they basically make you bite-proof. unless this small creature has a bite force higher than a great white, I think you´d be fine. the smoothed leather mentioned in the video I think would actually make a poor defense, as the acid is mentioned to be good at bypassing thick dragon hides, but not effecting metal that much. even stainless steel(which is much weaker than high carbon steel) would be enough, and it has the secondary benefit of being resistant to rusting and tarnishing. also, since it isn´t fabric, it wouldn´t soak itself in water and retain mobility, whereas leather armour requires at least some fabric or softer leather to be adhered to in order to be worn.
Oh naw these guys are a whole level of fear of fantasy swamps Imagine leaving your mount for a wiz, come back and it’s “dancing around” and you can’t do anything but watch
The story of Hence is so good! It's thematically rich even in a short overview, and I can imagine dozens of ill-fated quests to find the remains of the King in Bronze. The ruins must house all kinds of dragons and other hostile wildlife. Speaking of bronze, I love how the kinsbane starts out orange and turns green as though it's forming a patina.
I think Bears would be perfect for your world because they have adapted perfectly in ours sure there must be some sort of bear species that has adapted to the life where dragons live
