I love your work very much. For me this close-up is is too far to see the effect of your strokes with your lefthand-pensil😊. But when I read all the comments below, it is just me......haha
I actually am aware that value is the most important. And I can see it in other people's paintings, or when it's missing. But for some reason I struggle to see it in my own work. It's weird. So, as a result, I struggle with value. When I know there's something wrong in my painting, I always think the problem is the thing or object next to the value problem. Don't know if I'm explaining this correctly. I don't know why I sort of block it out in my own work. Thank you for this video. I always need the reminder. And I'm going to try painting in b&w
Thanks for this video Lori the painting is absolutely gorgeous. I love it. I’ve been trying to get the Liquitex spray bombs, but they won’t ship it to Canada. Apparently it has an ingredient that is banned in our country but I want them so badly. Any suggestions? Thanks for sharing your talent so freely you are my favourite artist on RU-vid.

@lorimirabelliabstractartist I was having panic attacks everyday, multiple a day and my doc prescribed me an antidepressant. I never took it. I started taking vitamin d and I havent had a panic attack in almost 8 months. It stopped them immediately.
Vit D is quite the powerful Vitamin and yes it does wonders for Mood stabilization as well. So glad it helped! Im looking forward to my level increase so that I don't feel like taking a nap every day! and I am NOT a napper.
@lorimirabelliabstractartist I live in Arizona and get a lot of sun so I can't imagine how low others must be. Hopefully you start feeling better soon.
How much money do you spend on shipping supplies for one 36x36” piece for example? I looked at these corner protectors, and it’s literally insane. With how expensive everything else is, and how much TIME it takes to package, I’d have to charge my customer $300+ to cover materials, my time (1-2 hours), and the actual shipping fee, just to cover my bases. Wondering what you charge your clients, and how much is reasonable to spend per packaging of one piece.
It be honestly I really don't know what the breakdown cost would be. I purchase everything in bulk. But I know it wouldn't cost $300. I don't charge for shipping either. Unless it's going international. It does take a lot of time to package. I sold 42 paintings last week during my Mini painting release and I packaged paintings for almost 3 days straight. It's all part of the process.
