I’m so confused I have the exact same set up I bought the adapter you recommended and it connects to the camera but when I try to connect the lens it doesn’t connect 😭😭 but I’m looking at your vid and you have the same exact set up bar for bar how did you connect it
Since I am shooting full-frame only with vintage lenses the original Sony A7 is doing a great job. I am using the A7 since many years and it never disappoints in stills photography. Regarding video the A7 is just not delivering an acceptable quality. Videos are looking like 720p and not like 1080p. I also own the Panasonic G7. And even in 1080P the difference is significant. For talking heads videos the 1080P (with AVCHD) is still sufficient (especially in my age where you do not want to expose all skin irregularities too much). For the mentioned purpose I prefer the G7 also over my Sony ZV-1 which produces a sharp but clinical look in 4K and is not that great in 1080P.
I have seen a few RU-vid videos on this and all those images at f1.1 were sharp. I think you just needed to adjust the focus with the addition screwdriver and paperwork.
What would be a good video lens in this price range for Lumix g7 ? I could very much use this lens for photography however I want to prioritize my video equipment first
The Lumix G7 looks better! Thanks. How long can the G7 record video for? Also what's the difference in the FULL frame VS the 3/4 frame? I don't understand that part? Does it crop the picture smaller?? Or?

When I clicked on your Amazon link for the sigma 18-35mm there were options for canon, Sony, sigma. I have a lumix g85. Do you know which option works for that camera?

Hey man, I bought this viltrox for my lumix G7 along with a Tokina 11-20mm F2.8 lens and a Sigma 18-35m F1.8. Both lenses keep making weird noises when recording on AF, and it keeps readjusting. It is nearly impossible to get focus on it. I already tried downloading the latest firmware for my camera and the speedbooster. Any recommendations?

Enjoyed the video and the info it provided. Can you do a short video on how to fine tune the lens? Mine came with with a chard and a screw driver to adjust fort or back focusing bias.
Thanks for the review. With the kit lens 14-42 mm, what was your setting to take the pics of the dessert in full view landscape and the closeup lock with crisp focus and smooth background blur? I haven't been able to find the proper setting yet. My full view landscape pics are not clear and my closeups are not that strong.
