I'm so thankful that you decided to stick it out and post such great content. Being a youtuber is tough. Trust me, I know first hand, your videos are always awesome, I feel like I'm there with you and that takes a special kind of talent, thank you❤
The only thing missing from a perfect day on the lakes is catching a trout or two. I don’t know if using a fly Rod and fly to catch a trout would have been more successful. Aside from that, you gave us a glorious day in the Canadian countryside.
Hi Careena, hope you are well and it is fantastic to see you again. Please do not stay away long. You are the only female bushcrafter, outdoors women I watch.
I've been thinking of getting a canoe. My Pelican Catch 120 fishing kayak is too heavy to portage, and not the best for loading for camping trips. Can you do a recommendation for canoes, weight etc?
@@richardstever3242 Yeah man, canoeing and fishing. US Citizen here. I'm looking for a new place to move to that looks like that. Love the scenery, the lush trees, and so forth. Canada is beautiful. I visited it once, went to Emerald Lake. We drove past all these mountain streams with some of the bluest water I have ever seen in my life ... on both sides of the border. I'm into holistic medicines, plenty of essential oils will stave away bug bites, along with drinking the right herbal teas. It's that stagnant water that attracts the pesky insects .... a quick flowing mountain stream doesn't attract as many insects
The outdoors would be so nice if it wasn't full of mossies (or midges in Scotland). That looks like a fine way of getting a day out where you don't see a soul, albeit quite hard work. Well filmed.
Oh ain't you the badass. Lol. I hope you carry something for bear protection. You know a human in a sleeping bag is a bear burrito. Lol. Love your videos.
Awesome video. Brought back memories of my younger years in Algonquin. Thanks so much for sharing. Be safe out there. Like you said, "Things can change quickly." Maybe look into one of those satellite text/GPS gadgets for emergencies if you don't have one. Once again, awesome video, and thanks for sharing.
I don't know how you keep your sanity in check with those black flies!!! I was hiking last week and literally lost my mind because of them! :D Cheers from Quebec!
Well I recently stumbled across your channel while looking at motorcycle reviews. Pretty neat channel. I also started a business, in machining, at a young age. Put my soul into it for decades. Enjoy your ventures while you're young and strong. ❤
Hi Alexis, what's up? Just watched your video and I must say it's really informative and helpful. I was thinking if I could help you make thumbnails for improved CTR and better views? Let me know, I can offer one for free.
