You want to talk about musicians, Cory can even hit his pedal board with his boot! These dudes are absolutely phenomenal musicians. Im talking about MIND BLOWING! I want to see these guys so badly.
If we go full nerd, in a room that we consider fully dry, a person playing guitar, his body of resonance in the position he is in, how he breathes and such, will technically influence the sound, since the sound is still a mic in a room compared to direct, but then in a philosophical sense, if everything is removed but the human, then the recording can be said to be the most human there is, direct will only have entropy through the fingers relatively
Excellent concert. What a tight band. Hoping that one day Antwaun Stanley learns to say something other than "Put your hands together" and "Give it up."
This sounds too perfect, which is not what good music is about. I appreciate the quality of the tools behind it, but there is no soul listening to it....just my opionion.
I just checked, 6 years ago I discovered Cory Wong via the Fearless Flyers, with Ace of Aces. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-72_zXigcOrA.html&ab_channel=Vulf I always loved the Nate Smith / Joe Dart section. These guys totally groove. I loved that video instantly. And years later, tonight, I randomly found that video..OH MY GOD. What a gig. I so wish I was there! Incredible how his music grew in 6 years... And OMG that bassist who just joined them like 2 days before the gig???? How about that !!!!!!??
easy: office cubicle clearly sounds best. Anechoic chamber 2nd, outside 3rd. Dungeon is too muddy & muffled. Stairwell, breakroom, foyer, concrete chamber are even worse (in a different way)
