Welcome to Two Rocking Grannies! We're Nana King & Granny Haze. Just two old ladies ready to rock!
Our channel is mostly reactions to metal and rock music, but we don't limit ourselves to just that. The whole point of this channel is to experience new music and other things with a completely open mind and see if two old ladies like us can relate to a completely different world we're not necessarily use to. Nana King grew up listening to Motown music and Elvis while Granny Haze is an ex-hippie who loved the Beatles, Hendrix and other peace-loving sounds of the 60's & 70's., so this will be an experience, to say the least...
So join us in this journey. We like to have fun and interact with others like you. Please subscribe, like and comment on our videos and make sure you leave of suggestions on new music for us to discover! We want to hear it all.
Translating the German to English in this respect is often misrepresented, as most people do it word for word. But in context, this is about, you hate me because I am different, and thereefore I am lesser. So to speak. This is an anthem to say, I am different, and I am not inferior. I am strong. And there is nothing about a Rammstein show that is I am weak. if nothing else, it is always< I am strong. And the flamethrower headsets on songs like Feuer frei will prove that. Understan ding German or not, these guys pot on of the best shows I've seen in decades. Was awesome to see you two like this.
If you watch the Behind the Scenes video, it was a woman in bed, and putting the slippers on. He is wrapped in canvas and pulled up for the transition. Very well done.
Maynard's mother had an aneurysm and was confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. She continued to believe very devoutly in her Christian faith until her death. Not only that, but some people in her church said that her faith must have been weak in order for that to happen to her. Which she seems to have agreed with. That's why he's so angry about this.
Hey Grannies, love your Avatar reacts, big fan of them here! Heres a little something about their vids you may not know. They are mostly done with small budgets, which imo goes to show one cant put price on imagination and creativity. The whole album for Avatar Coutry was intented as a movie and they even made up a crowd-founding of sorts asking their fans to pich in and help them to be able to make it possible and it is really worth watching all the vids from the album in sequence. This was at a time when they were still largelly unknown, at less so that they are now. And most everyone that sees them live or in youtube fall in love with them and rightfully so, they deserve all the recognition for they passion, talent and hard work, amazing band. ❤🔥
RIP Dave Brockie and Cory Smoot! I saw them live and got Oderus's autograph before the show. He pulled up in the decked out gwarmobile(it was a golf cart decorated in gore and viscera lol), chugged a Heineken, and screamed. My brother told me to ask him to bust out the cuttlefish, so I did and he grunted at me then pulled it up onto the table! Hahaha, something I'll remember for the rest of my life!
While I do understand why people hold Hypa Hypa to such a standard and I can agree... We Got The Moves is my favorite Eskimo/Electric Callboy song by a lot!
I've learned this one recently. FUN FACT: The bowl cut hairstyle apparently translates as a "pony" cut in Germany. So that's a pony wearing a pony. German fellas, is this real? Have I been trolled? Please tell me if I got that right
Hr was supposedly abused as a child. And his older songs are about that anger. .yall arent much older than me ao you should get them. Down with the Sickness
I have seen him live many times over the years. Everytime i get a chance. Even the older stuff is beautiful. Because I'm it comes from his heart. Doen with the sickness us real. And i get it. I m in my 59s but still listen to it

I've been to more Slayer concerts than any other. I've been in they're mosh pit for a very long time. In a way it was time for them to retire. Too many people are bringing phones and are interested in that over getting in the pit and blowing off steam. I have several memories of being in those pits at Salt Air. One where a giant just went and stood in the middle of the pit "the guy was over 7ft and had to weigh over 600 lbs.. and would pick ya up and chuck ya if you got too close.. To the guy who was cutting people in the pit. "I was cut on the side of my head" Never saw the guy and didn't know I was cut till someone on the side told me". He had to have been using a razor blade.. That stuff wasn't normal but happened.. Lastly I think it was a shame that they let Lombardo go.. I think his drumming made a huge difference in the sound!
I don't see the devil in this song really. They're using Metaphor and religious concepts. The metaphor being putting the baby in the bomb. In a real one it will kill babies. The cross and reference to the 1st born son along with verses referencing Pilot point to the fact that the "war machine"" is killing off all of these things we hold holy.. And the consequence of all that violence we have the ingrained HERESY.. Pointing out truth isn't satanic.
