Literally made me choke up when they said that bro. It's so nice when your gram sees you need it, cooks a dinner and makes you eat. I don't think my Grammy knows what "I aint hungry right now, thank you" means. Literal gibberish to her. Even older ladies I've been friends with. We'll smoke a couple joints and put down a good few pints and then all of the sudden it's time for some cookies or a hot dinner. Nothin better. I could be at the end of my rope, experiencing the worst times of my life and grandma's always know just how to inject that little bit of warmth into your life without fail.

I knew of the Papa Roach song but only as something in the background and I never paid attention to the lyrics. Then I heard/saw Ronnie's version and realised what the song was really about. As someone who tried to commit suicide when I was 11 years old, (I'm now 63), I can only echo the words of these truly wonderful ladies and say that there is a whole life ahead of you. Sometimes it will be beautiful and sometimes it will be tragic, and sometimes it will be soul destroying, but learn from it and don't give in to it. Talk to a teacher, talk to your doctor, talk to a friend, but talk to someone!. And then one day I hope you too will be 60'ish and telling other kids to think about things before you DO anything. Thank you for the video ladies, it's so nice to see you again.

This made my whole day! I’m so happy to see our grannies post a video. We’ve sure missed you but we also know busy life can get. Life around here has been crazy getting ready for baby girl. Most likely she’ll be here next month 😳 The girls are all doing pretty well. Nora had a great round of appointments in May and we’re hoping to get some more help with solving the little medical mystery she is. She’ll be 5 later this month. 🥺 This is a great song. As sad and angry as it is, the musicianship is fantastic and the lyrics give you a lot to think about. I think a lot of us related to this song as teenagers. I know I did. This is one of the songs that has kind of outlasted time and always been a classic. But a lot of great music comes from a place of great pain. And that is what makes it such a universal thing as well as powerful. I’ve seen over the years how people with Dementia respond to very little but they will respond to music. I’ve done Dementia care for 16 years. It’s difficult but those moments of getting through to them make it all worth it. We love you Grannies and hope you’re doing well. I’m hoping to get some videos out soon myself. ❤ see you next time.

So glad to hear your pregnancy is progressing well. Another little girl. How precious is that? Glad to hear the girls are well also. We think of them often. Happy that Dads doing OK too. He’s kind of out number in this ever growing family of ladies. Grannie Haze & I are doing well also. You’re right, the lyrics to this song hit hard. Life can be hard, even brutal at times. Being privileged to still be a part of it from day to day, year to year is still such a blessing though. I hope these types of tracks resonate strongly for some people. I hope they get the message that there are people who truly care if they’re here or not. Doing these videos alone has shown Grannie Haze and me both how true that is. We’ve received so much love & care from you guys & Hope we’ve been able to send some back to you guys too. Take care of yourself & we’ll see you next time. Keep on rocking babies. Grannies, Jacoby and the guys did this 20 years ago. They still rock it at every show. Still in the top 5 bands to see live, for me. They were out on tour with Ronnie all last year ...best tour of the year, imo😊

Glad you've finally reacted to Papa Roach, such a great band and there's so many more great songs by this band. Don't know if you've already checked out both Bullet For My Valentine and Funeral For A Friend? Both are great bands from where I live in Wales. Got so many great songs like: No More Tears, Don't Know You, Waking The Demon, Tears Don't Fall, You Want a Battle (Here's A War), all from BFMV. And from FFAF there's Into Oblivion, Monsters, History, Streetcar, Rose's For The Dead, Juneau. There's a lot more but too many to mention. Keep 🤘😎🤘

This song was an anthem when I was a teenager (48 now), this song was probably the biggest song for my generation. People that hated this type of music LOVED this song, it impacted so many. If I can suggest another papa roach song I recommend "Between angles and insects." It's another song with another deep meaning about enjoying life and not needing all the material things. 🙂

We actually did Wolf Totem by The Hu a couple of years ago but it WASN’T the one with Jacoby Shadox in it. However, I really liked it so perhaps we can look up the one with Jacoby in it sometime soon also. Mongolian metal is very different but very ethnic & enjoyable. Late for the party, but... You are right. This is cry for help... The song was written because of friend and roommate of lead singer. They lived basically together and he failed to see what was going on with that friend of his; severe depression. One day, that friend tried to commit suicide. Luckily, he failed. But our lead singer was so full of guilt. Firstly, cos he failed to see all the warning signs. Secondly, they were both abusing substances and he was the one bringing it to his friend. That is how this song came to be...
