Hi! I'm Antonio Pepperonio, I'm a disabled Fitness/Nutrition Professional. I started streaming on twitch when I became disabled to meet new friends & express myself. I sometimes stream Ark, Final Fantasy XIV, and other survival games and rpgs. I primarily make Ark: Survival Ascended building related videos, with occasional forays into other building games.
Within the first minute I knew this was doomed. Not sure why you kept saying asa has a higher structure limit…it’s literally 1/3 of what ase was. It went from like 16k to 5-6k on official. I still managed to get over 20k on official on asa
Because it is absolutely optimized for higher density structures. This very build is proof of it. I built this in ASE, ASE couldn't handle it. Frames were dipping below 20 fps far before I reached the intended exterior design. ASA handled the full vision, plus interior, plus extras. UE5 can handle more structures than ASE could. That's just a fact.
@@antoniopepperonio as I said, structure limit was REDUCED from 16k on ase to 6k asa. And there’s nothing about this game that’s optimized. Absolutely nothing.
@@antoniopepperonio it’s obvious you don’t play on official, not like the clipping doesn’t give it away. Learn to read. I’m just flat out telling you that structure limit was 3x higher on ase than it is on asa. Rendering has nothing to do with it. The rendering is still shit.
Thats a really beautiful building. I'd be too frightend to build something like that. I hate chopping down big trees and id be frightend of accidentally making thrm despawn while placing structures around them.
Sure! I can think of a few things, pillars and beams, paint (paint applies very nicely to metal), trophy displays, metal signs rotated to form vertical lines, placing down metal water tanks along a snap point in free place mode then snap the metal walls clipped into them to create a new texture for walls. I might do a video on it.
@@antoniopepperoniotitans are the reason I use the spawn blocker mod on my single player game - I feel like unless you're playing pvp they're just not worth the hassle
Great build, love the way you kept nature in design (you would do amazing with a vegetation mod), and the attention to detail and mixing materials... it's a really pretty base! Next time you could do a tek gen hidden in a secret metal or tek room if you don't want it to be shown

This was made on an unofficial unmodded server. If official has structure clipping into natural terrain enabled, it is possible. I haven't played official for years so I'm not sure if structure clipping is allowed or not, but yes, totally unmodded.
