There’s some past relationships or ex that cannot be friends depending with the circumstances of their break up. And it’s better to leave it out, NO on off otherwise it becomes TOXIC.
When exes became friends, that means they have moved on. They are comfortable & trusts that their new relationship is secured. This is a good example, on Julia’s case, she found new love with Gerald & are confident that this new relationship is secure, the real deal. And to say the same thing with Gerald, that he is comfortable & secure with Julia to let her team with an ex, meaning that he fully trusted her to the point of teaming to an ex to this new movie. It’s the security & trust level in a relationship. The movie is so kilig but sorry to say that there is no balikan between Julia & Josh, their relationship is only friend zone… Julia & Gerald is on a different level, the real deal ❤ Both Julia & Josh are truly genuinely happy & have truly moved on, and it is a very healthy way how they ended. After watching...i came to realized na self love pala yung nawala sken ...lahat ng sinabi mo Dani sobrang nagparealized sken kung bakit ganito na situation ko ngayon ...i have so much love for my family before hangang sa parang napagod nako kc ng eexpect ako from them..to love me the way i love them..but it ends into great frustration and dissapointments....and lahat ng to ngtulak sken to distant myself sa lahat....kaya hangang ngayon alone and sad..kc ako din ngsuffer .

Siguro they broke around early 2019, kasi like joshua mentioned during pandemic pa nya naramdaman na they broke up. Rocky na siguro relationship nila nung late 2018 knowing na julia had a problem including her family that was broadcast on television, kumbaga public. Just my 2 cents
