How are the wheels riding now or have you taken them off? I like the look but I'm afraid they might ride rough and I like that smooth ride. I have some 24's that I can use but they are too small for the truck. I just wanted your honest opinion.
I still have them on. The ride is a little slight vibration. Definitely not as smooth as factory wheels. I would say it’s definitely smoother than mud tires as well. So in my honest opinion it’s a sacrifice in ride quality for appearance. Also I had them rebalanced like 3 times to get them as smooth as possible.
Thanks. From my experience a lot of people lean towards more bass. But on the highway you can have two 10’s and barely feel or hear bass at 70 MPH. With the additional tweeters even at 80 MPH I still can hear clear music.
It’s an expensive upgrade. But you should look at the Saddlemen Road sofa seat extended. Carbon fiber not the LS model. That is the one with all the stitches that hold any moisture to wet your ass . The smooth looks better anyway. I like mine . Barracuda silver Road King with paint matching fairing with receiver .
Well you popped up right in the middle of my Kung Fu Movie - so I want to take the opportunity to ask a very direct and important question - ( btw: I assume the bike is great ) - "if one were to finance a 40,000 Harley Street Glide", what does it cost per month in bank payments, not including insurance, and taxes, and how much do you end up paying in total and when; and "when" has the value of the dollar changed for inflation, etc? - thanks !
This was really helpful. I have a 2022 Road Glide Limited that I had. WHIM installed in and I bought two Shoei helmets that were designed for the Sena wireless headsets. I have not been able to get everything working correctly. I a going to try what you recommend to see if I can get Car Play showing up and get my helmets connect so my wife and I can talk while we ride. Thank you!
Great job but I still don’t understand what the $300 WHIM does that the $15 jumper doesn’t… outside of voice controls? But a regular Sena can do voice commands too. And I’ve not found anyone to answer that question. I wish I could bring my bike w/o the WHIM and do a compare and contrast with a bike with a WHIM. That would be fun and informative
Anyone wanting Apple CarPlay. You don’t need a WHIM or jumper. The bike just come stock with Apple CarPlay turned off. Just have the Radio Flashed to Turn on Apple CarPlay.
The sockets actually have two sets of slots for the bulb. I installed LEDs today and I noticed that. One set of slots you can push in button won't turn or it will turn & not lock in. You got to look careful. The other set of slots it turns and stays....To take the lenses off I use my finger not a screwdriver
