Congrats on the new bike. I was looking at the backlash 450 for my FLHXS, and since they both use the same baffles I thought I would look for a video. This is the exact video I needed. Nobody does a POV of the pipes. I think these and a new headpipe will have mine sounding money.
Yessir, I put the Torquer 450’s on my 21 SGS. I love the sound. They sound really good on the stock 114. They are temporary until I replace the headers. So, I didn’t want to spend too much on other brands. Even if I go with Vance and Hines headers, these slips ons won’t fit and that’s okay, just temporary. My plan is to keep the 114 stock without cams and bore kits. Just a new air breather, full set of headers, and a tune. That should give me good performance and power for how I enjoy riding. It’s a cruiser for me.
Excellant video. FYI.. I have same bike and I also set it up for 2 riders, I like the passenger floor boards on yours as well as pipes. I put axle nuts covers on and the aluminum brake cover I replaced with black ones.
Also the neutral thing is probably just a new bike thing. My new st is the same and when I bought my 16 street glide it took a few thousand miles to make going into neutral more seamless.
Isn’t it too quiet? Pulled the trigger on a brand new 2021 street glide special and then came to learn about the limitation harley did on the exaust system. Are you happy with your choice? Do you find it loud enough?
Six Gears - Damn - I only got 5 ! - Beautiful Bike - just one gotcha - my babe rides with me a lot . She cant slide off. - How do you keep a babe on your bike?
A You Tube friend of mine ''Smokey Gold Harley You Tube'' ru-vid.com/show-UC8jIxZuZdb0kbc6-KPOy15A Has a new Street Glide with alot of great information. If you seem to have a buffeting problem and your helmet shakes back and forth, he installed a Klock Werks windshield and talks about helmets too, with video. He says his does run very very hot to the point were his right leg is getting burnt up near where he installed the heat shields, does yours get real hot too?
My 21 SGS gets really hot too. I thinks it’s the norm with the M8’s. I’m hoping mines cools down a bit after I replace the headers with the catalytic converter. I also plan to add the fan assisted oil cooler.
@@williamfranklin5917 Harley makes a fan also that directs the heat down to the ground. The oil cooler fan should help and removing the Cat will help too. It is funny though, as I see many riders at certain events both male and female riding with shorts on newer Harley's?
