The 2002-2009 version of Sci-Fi/Syfy was the best. This is definitely nostalgia. No matter how much I missed these old days. This was even before I was born, and I remembered my dad watching Stargate SG-1 all the time on Syfy those days. I don't think that show is on the air of this channel anymore, but it's been forever, man.
WPPX really embraced their PAX affiliation, damn! I wish the other PAX affiliates had the same attitude and as much pride. It’s good to see they took the affiliation seriously!
The local operation barely existed. Most of the time their only sign of life was the station ID printed onscreen. The local news provided by NBC 10 that you see in this video is the only time "PAX 61" was acknowledged. Otherwise it was just PAX and for all intents and purposes it was all PAX all the time. Their www.paxphiladelphia.tv redirected to pax.tv's "local" page, which just had the TitanTV schedule of all the local subchannels. I mean the station was owned by Paxson. Was it any different in other markets?
This video starts with the ending credits of Supermarket Sweep and transitions to Weakest Link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H6J1lFmGg58.html
It's strange watching the exact broadcast you've seen 20 years ago l miss the era like I miss the city! Oh, I forgot how beautiful that Voyager intro is.
