We eat a lot of it in the country I live in. Its called San Sebastien and so moreish I have to be very strict with myself. No pastry top though as the internal mix sort of gently hardens by itself.
The end product doesn’t look like the thumbnail picture. End product looks more like a cake, while the thumbnail looks more like a strudel flaky kind of pastry.
