Dancing Rabbit will grow and flourish and refine. Dancing Rabbit has good roots and strong foundations and blessings will rain upon the community of Dancing Rabbit 🌺
This is pure genius. I recently enjoyed a similar book, and it was sheer genius. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint
I'm lost in this content. I had the pleasure of reading something similar, and I was completely immersed. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint
they ruined the village by incorporating animal murder, this is why you keep communities small and don't let everyone in. also as always men want to take over. shocker when more men come, violence towards animals increases
Hello my friend! I am so interest waching this video, and i get a lot of knowledge and passion. I have dream can make it like you all do in my country, Indonesia.
I love the things they are doing. One question though. Is it just a cultural thing that only Caucasians seem to get into? It's not a negative question. More like an anthropologist looking at a community. What is the factor involved why all the community members as Caucasians only?
THANK YOU for this documentary series. Very needed at the moment. Just knowing and being able to imagine concrete aspects of post capitalist life gives so much hope
That's a great question. You would need to contact Dancing Rabbit directly to ask them. They don't produce this channel. You can reach them through their website - www.dancingrabbit.org/
Awesome! Be sure and subscribe to stay tuned. I'm creating a lot of new content for the channel about intentional communities, and starting your own community!
Well our family has been looking for a community to join. But can't find anyone I send messages to the community on the website, but they say let me discuss with members, but nothing no contact 😢
Hi @crewsFamilydash, they have a contact page on their site with all of their contact info. www.dancingrabbit.org/contact-dancing-rabbit/ And, they also have a visitor program. www.dancingrabbit.org/visit/ I highly suggest getting in touch with them.
Love this and love Rae. I visited Dancing Rabbit in 2018 and it was amazing! Everyone is so welcoming and unique. It gave me a great new perspective on what is possible for us as humans.
We aren't looking to move to Missouri, but this is the most appealing intentional living community I've ever seen <3 I hope we can find something similar!
I would love to visit your intentional community with my daughter this summer. I absolutely love your ideas of community. Is there a certain day that visitors are welcome ?
You will need to contact Dancing Rabbit directly. This is not their channel, just a documentary about them. They have a contact page on their site with all of their contact info. www.dancingrabbit.org/contact-dancing-rabbit/ And, they also have a visitor program. www.dancingrabbit.org/visit/ I highly suggest getting in touch with them, and visiting. You will love it!
I believe the term is communism, everything is shared, a political, far left, economic ideology. People loose the ability for independent thought and autonomy. All decisions are dictated by the council and the responsible, selected committee implements that decision. What happens if you decide to leave...are you reimbursed? Can you sell your house?
That's an awful lot of assumptions for someone who hasn't visited Dancing Rabbit in person. If you have any questions, you can contact them directly. www.dancingrabbit.org/contact-dancing-rabbit/ They also have a visitor program. www.dancingrabbit.org/visit/ I highly suggest you visit them and see for yourself!
They are in Missouri. If you're interested, they have a contact page on their site with all of their contact info. www.dancingrabbit.org/contact-dancing-rabbit/ And, they also have a visitor program. www.dancingrabbit.org/visit/ I highly suggest getting in touch with them, and visiting!
Such a great story in this documentary! Thank you for producing this, I am so happy this community exists. I live in Portland, OR and there are some community spaces in the city doing this too; places to join these communities are always limited. We need more like these! I would love to join an intentional community in the PNW region. Right now I'm living in a small intentional space with three friends oriented around our shared dietary need to avoid gluten. It would be great to knit together larger community spaces to be more established with ongoing intentional relationships in the bigger picture. Much love!
I'm a web dev who works remotely and would love this kind of life. I have a good income, and giving half away is fine by me, as long as the "commons" are worth it. I cook in a communal kitchen for homeless people, and it's very clear to me how much efficiency gains we can have by cooking or making things in common, given how we are a team of 8 and we feed 500+ people per night. Unfortunately, my wife and I don't want to live in the USA, we are Canadians living in France, but an eco-village like this... wow. Also, we do not and will not have kids, and we notice how many ecovillages ask for families to come. I understand that they want the next generation on site, but it makes it harder to find a place for us.
Dancing Rabbit is a great community for people of all ages and situations. They have a great visitor program. www.dancingrabbit.org/visit/ I highly suggest getting in touch with them, and visiting!
Is there a cemetery there or do the dead go out on a fire ceremony? That would make the most sense. What about births? Is there a midwife living there?
They discuss burials a bit in the documentary. I haven't visited them in a few years, so I don't know what the current situation is. They have a contact page on their site with all of their contact info. www.dancingrabbit.org/contact-dancing-rabbit/ And, they also have a visitor program. www.dancingrabbit.org/visit/ I highly suggest getting in touch with them, and visiting!

I have always lived like this because my family was poor. But I could never live here because I don't really like people, people like this would suffocate me.
Thanks for making this. I love many ideas from here, even thought I visited someecovillages and communities. I love the car sharing and would love to implement it here.
50:04 - This is one of the biggest issues in modern culture. This every day 9-5 lifestyle that you just get stuck in for, what, 50 years of your life? Maybe longer? It's no small wonder there's so much stress and anxiety in life. Having to deal with that daunting, mechanical monotony on top of all the other issues in your life and the world at large... it just seems so unhealthy. How relieving it must be to be a part of a community where a different lifestyle culture is cultivated and supported.
It was so lovely to hear how they'd like to see things change even though they already love it so much. One of my biggest fears that I have about moving to an ecovillage like this is one that several of them actually touched on, and that is how accepting they'll be towards gay and trans people like me. I love hearing that they're already looking for more queer people and there are already people out there like me who are living the kind of life I want to have! It makes me hopeful that I'll be able to find the kind of community that I'm looking for :)
