The only way walker touches the ball is he gets a rebound his best year he had Connelly setting him up a true point gaurd do u think the miopic self centered ball hogs like keyonte sexton clarkson are passing him the ball not a chance terrible me first losing basketball players
Lauri rules He needs to take more shots though. Others shooting below .420 should review their shot selection and should create more for Lauri Lauri needs to improve his passing game though. See what Jokic does
Locked on network gives you the local perspective that the national media and talking heads are out of tune with. Local typically = homer. Wonder how much the network sold for… anyways get lost weirdo.
Locke, Kessler will never make top 100. Its obvious you like him because he talks to you on your broadcast of the Jazz and he is kind to you. However, you are not objective with him or his performance.
I don't think YOU are being objective. His "drop off" is overblown. He has one of the best block PG in the league. Also one is the lowest shooting % for opponents around the rim. He was 3rd for ROY. Made Team USA select team. Yes he stagnated when the Jazz chose Collins over him but it's way too early to make such predictions
Listen I can complain about David locke if I want to nick pick The outrageously long commercial breaks and his snorting and sipping of coffee. But one thing this guy does is prepare with data to back up his takes. He knows what he's talking about he does a good job I love you David sorry for being so mean but damn sipping that coffee and snorting
He lacks aggressiveness. Doesn’t help to have looks of a college sophomore either. Grow a beard, get a nasty face tattoo or sth Bulk up and start pushing people around like a guy your size should.
worst transition and worst defense is fixable by not crashing offensive boards. you need to make a decision what is more important for your team when you have players that you have
I always find topics on 5-out systems interesting. A lot of misconception is believing you need a center that can shoot in order to execute 5-out plays, which is false. Warriors identity has been built on their 5-out system, and they've done it without ever really having a center that shoots 3s
Lauri is basically Giannis with a 3pt shot Sexton is basically Ja Clarkson is basically prime Lou Will Kessler is basically Gobert Yeah that’s a top 10 talented team
So it sounds like if the offensive player instigates it they aren't calling it. (Warranted) But what if the defensive player pushes into the line to bump them of balance.... still no foul? Look at it going to get rough in the line as soon as defensive players figure that out.
Great job on the podcast, love all the numbers and careful analysis. I will say that everytime you tell me to subscribe so that you can get your numbers up it makes me want to do it even less
David… Listening to you call for more minutes for Hendrix is on point, though I am perplexed when I think back to last year and how much you promoted the necessity of his G-League experience and the reality of his youth. I didn’t disagree with you then, and I don’t now, but these two mandates seem to fly in the face of each other - particularly when you comp out total minutes for second year players like you have. Any thoughts on how a team should reconcile these two realities ( the need for g-league development vs. total NBA minutes) when drafting young, high upside talent like Taylor?
I agree that he wasn’t ready. I think your analysis about sub 1k minute players is going to be very interesting to continue to track as it relates to Taylor this year. I am hopeful that it will be less of an indictment of Taylor’s long-term potential and that it will become more of a testament to the progression of the G-League’s development capacity for players like Taylor who come into the league far from ready. Hopefully, Taylor, and others like him, who spend significant rookie minutes in the g-league can begin to change the narrative of your analysis re: sub-1k minute top ten picks. Really appreciate your dialogue here. I’ve been a huge fan of your thoughtful analysis since I was in junior high in the early 90s when you were doing trivia shows with “The King”. Thanks for making it way better to be a Jazz fan each and every day.
