We’re a team of highly-qualified electricians who have held master certifications (the highest qualification an electrician can earn) in three states and spent almost 30 years owning and running a ‘traditional’ electrical contracting firm. We’re proud to have provided excellent service to thousands of homeowners in our local area by diagnosing and repairing issues like faulty circuit breakers, old wiring and electrical surges, but we always wondered if there was a way we could have a bigger impact. A way we could help people all over the country not just in our local area… …and now we’ve done it using a method that seemed almost unthinkable to us when we were first setting out on our careers… we’ve gone VIRTUAL! Now with the help of our revolutionary streaming technology and your phone’s video function, we can guide you step-by-step to fix the problem yourself. It’s like we’re really there with you, telling you exactly what to do next from just over your shoulder.
How is that when I turn my ac on, other circuit is getting affected. And I'm not talking about the initial power surge to start ac. I start the ac and a cooler in the other room is getting slow. What's the reason please explain.
In my apartment, all the plugs are working except in one room. All the plugs in it doesnt work, so I tried turning the power off, and still, what do you recommend
yes. use the double pole or install a breaker tie between the 23 singles. if you dont install according to manufacturers instructions you may not get the connected load warranty
Thanks for the info.....I just came across your vids.....My effluent pump and switch are hardwired, but I would like to install an outlet for ease of replacement if/when necessary...would you recommend? I know I need a weather proof outlet cover
If the sub panel has an existing ground bar on both sides of the panel can it be used with a neutral and hot (circuit breaker) wire on either side of the panel for example you run out of grounds on one side where the breaker is attached can you attach it on the other side that has empty spots. I have an extra 10 gauge wire ground that I guess you can double up to the last ground on the same side as the neutral and hot. Also in this situation 10 gauge is way over kill for the current (no pun intended) connected devices which are low power audio equipment. Audiophiles can be ocd😂. Seems like a dumb question but as my moniker states I'm still alive and well at 71 and would like to stay that way. Thanks in advance.
I want to change from a can light to a semi flush mount and also move it over about 6 inches. Can I just open it up, move the wires to a new junction box with brace and patch the hole, leaving the can up there?
Thanks for the video. I have a camper, with the mini fridge hardwired. The fridge is broken , so I need to replace it, but all the mini fridges i see have a standard plug. Would you suggest running the wires to a new outlet, or cutting the cord from a new fridge, and splicing the old hardwires to the new fridge?
I’m sure he has the main breaker off. And tested off. Otherwise he is jeopardizing safety personally and the home. Best if main breaker is removed. No connection from the meter to the house at all is best.
The outlet cover goes on we plug in and it trips the breaker and doesn’t work so we take the cover off the outlet plug in and the dryer works!! WTH 🤦🏼♂️
Hello sir i have a new build home my breaker for the stove keeps triping they say i need to put a regular breaker instead of the gfci thats in place is this true
What if the recept that your pulling power from isn’t the last device on the circuit? Is it OK to pull power from a recept in the middle of a daisy chained circuit?
Got a question?? On a siemens type blf2 circuit breaker with gfci .120v 20amp Bolt in.. I purchased some of these from someone. The breakers are tripped. I have not installed into breaker yet but they will not reset.. Do they have to be energized before the breaker will reset..
