Delta force is polished, easily accessible to a larger audience for being free and minimal system requirements and offers almost everything that Battlefield fans wanted. Plus they have already made content for the first 4 seasons. I don't even need to say who takes the crown here.
There's no denying that Delta Force is a copy of 2042 but I don't even think that's a bad thing. We know 2042 isn't going to get any new meaningful content anymore, so might as well let this knock off fill the huge gap until 2025. I just want to try this game and see if it has any legs that'll keep it alive for 8-10 months
The excitement surrounding Delta Force is palpable, and I’m eager to dive into it. However, I’m cautious about setting my expectations too high. While Delta Force appears to offer some intriguing features, I doubt it will fully satisfy my Battlefield craving. It seems that many people are so disillusioned with Battlefield 2042 that they are quick to praise Delta Force as the superior game. Yet, the differences between the two games seem quite minimal to me. Despite the negative reception of Battlefield 2042, I actually enjoy it and suspect I’ll also enjoy Delta Force. Still, I’m not convinced it will surpass 2042.
WHAT A MIN WTF?!?! i never knew the medic in battlefield can cause damage by shooting the medic pistol in the ground and cause damage to enemy that walks over it.. WTF so many years and i never knew that!!!
Great vid Cad, really liking these comparison videos, I will say the focus on team work elements with Delta Force’s operators are slightly better than 2042, but I wont rule out the specialists completely, it also depends on the individual players too, but I can’t see the Delta Force devs removing the intro quips from the operators like Dice did with the end of round voice lines, we may even see additional voice lines and such in Delta Force MTX store, who knows, it’s F2P after all
2042 is pretty good rn compared to its launch but Hawk ops looks so much like 2024 this could either be good or bad depending on how the game feels and has to offer. They definitely have to do better than 2042 if they want to compete
2042 now is excellent. It plays great. I have 2,400+ hours and enjoy everything, but the hacker/cheaters. I hope DICE will give us some surprise updates. It's hard to play legacy Battlefield games (4, V, 1, HL), 2042 surpassed them except for maps. Legacy remastered maps would be incredible in 2042. BTW, try 1st tiering all the weapons. It is a areal challenge.
Yes more remasters would be great, but I doubt we will see any more maps for the game. T1 for all weapons definitely is a challenge. There are not too many who have accomplished this. :D
No one should pay full price for this game this late in its life. It goes on sale regularly (<$10 in some cases). IMO they need to add a way to earn the cosmetics from previous seasons. Sure cosmetics dont add anything in terms of gameplay, but it could be a nice unlock stream to keep players engaged for longer. Who even cares that they own an 'exclusive' skin from S1? It would also help the game from looking like the Clone Wars, a problem that has persisted for 3+ years.
Remember, they had a great reputation and with Battlefield 1, it was a tremendous success.. a trophy if you will...which they through down in the dirt with Battlefield V......from a perfect gameplay perspective to let's redesign the wheel..and fail....it didn't improve after that.
The next game will be like this one, complete trash. Live service is code for failgame from EA Dice. So sad hopefully the Chinese game Delta Force will be better
Personally I found it wasn’t worth it when it came out and still isn’t worth it now. I’ve tried to enjoy it, but I’ve jumped back into BF1 or BF5 and had 100% more fun. 🤦♂️
This game was good for me, I played BF4 a little and too much, then BF2015 and enjoyed quite a bit. This game I got it for 20 dollars from someone in 2022 and played every season. I will go back from time to time but I am kinda moving on from it.
I just stated playing recently and find it really fun. It feels like the hate for it is over exaggerated, or based on an idea of what it ought to be rather than what it is. It's certainly as good as what one should expect from an ea game (overdeveloped, underefined). But we'll see.
I preordered it but the 60 dollar one, played the first day and saw the bugs, didn’t touch it for a week and coming back to it, it works fine and loved it ever since
It's so sad that BF animations have become so fucking janky lately. BFV was the last good one. The good devs left, now we got some stank dog doodoo water devs who think that adding a scoreboard is too demanding. Also Delta Force's guns feel like MW19 guns which I really love.
Wish they could have just expanded on BF3. the maps, the attention to detail, the sounds, gameplay and the scoreboard just worked so well. They peaked too early with BF3 and BF4 and went downhill after that.
