There is an difference between the Model 3 and Model Y spoilers. The bow is more curved between the two. And the Tip of model 3 is more sharp then the model Y.

The tape is 3M 8mm wide. we now use the Clear with red line.

My EU M3 has it inside. Not there.

It's the worse place to put an air intake. This is for the model Y I believe, and the AC stinks because water gets in there so easily. No other car has the intake so close and directly under the windshield like that. My AC stnks like vinegar after a couple of months of replacing the in-cabin double AC filter. It does not remedy the problem.

Not only that but he's double restricting airflow with that extra filter and leaf guard.

I changed the cabin filter on mine it’s under the dash mid console and you have to remove some panels to do it.

There indeed isn't an air filter there by default, but the holes in the air vent cover are quite big and easily let dust, sand, etc through. The filter will stop all that. 😁👍

Would it damage your AC unit in the long because having a filter there means airflow is restricted and it force the blower motor to work hard.

There is already a filter in the cabin, two of them.

That filter is not OEM and actually worst for the car....
