I see your having trouble getting the rolls of wire out try gluing a bit of cotton from oneside to the other then just lift it out. I have been looking for some of that wire so thank you
I own the G22 and the G223 - I have taken them apart to clean them similar to the way you are doing it. The 2 hardest things for me are the small tip on the front (My fingers are big) and aligning the bottom of the trigger into the body. It gets easier the more you do it.
Can you use the Lacquer Thinner to actually thin the solvent/ oil based paints--BEFORE you spray?? I know some people put airbrush thinner in their POT first then add the oil based paints to the small pot, then shake! Then they are ready to paint! Can the lacquer thinner be used in a ratio the same way??
At 10:13 OOPS! LMAO! I did that right before coming back to this video. It fell on the floor, luckily, I found it. I don't use my Master airbrush that often so, I forget the disassemble-reassemble process. I always use your vid as a guide. Thanks ;)
It's pronounced "Posh-A" Not a bad make, but Badger and Iwata are much better. Actually the cleaner used depends on what type of paint you use. I use nothing but acrylics, so I use a "home-brew" cleaner that is mainly water, Isopropyl Alcohol and a few drops of Glycerin and Ammonia-free window cleaner. For lacquer-based paints, well, you have to be careful using even lacquer thinner, because of any rubber seals or gaskets. BTW, the tip is called the nozzle.
This is intriguing because I’m scaling up a 1:72 F-15 Eagle and using cardboard with hard CA and water which comes out lighter then balsa and I fly Rc jets and helicopters but I’m using coke cans for cover.
I liked your advise on putting money into equipment and supplies rather than collecting. I'd be curious to know if you have resisted the impulse to hoard kits like many of us.
@@TheSeanBampton I read it it says it come in theses different thicknesses. Did you use all the thicknesses in the video and I did watch it 5 months ago I was just asking that’s all as since my strokes I have trouble judging smaller sizes
This is so awesome I fly r,c helicopters and jets. I’m using ravall biggest kit and form the whole fuselage with cardboard with aluminum cans inside of the cardboard after mixing ca glue and water and it makes all Jets perfect with electric or a king tech 45 turbine and F,P,V flying.😎❤️🥇🏁🇺🇸🏆🚁🛩🌎
OMG!!!😃 Your video is PERFECT. :) I'm sooo glad you made it for your friend. I'm trying airbrushing for my Halloween and Christmas projects (an artist I'm not). I just received and tried out the Master compressor/G22 set yesterday and didn't think it was completely clean and no idea how to totally break it down. I found your video this morning, sure enough, while following step by step, the needle came out...PAINT residue. GREAT JOB 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽and Thanks again..of course, I'll be saving this one.
This is a horrible model from Revell! Nothing fit properly. I'll never buy another Revell model again.. I painted the intakes first and then patched them up after assembly..
I'd like to add, if lacquer thinner does not work, try MEK (methyl ethyl ketone). That stuff will eat pretty much anything that's gunking up inside your airbrush. Just make sure to remove the rubber bands/gaskets first.
I hope you can clear up what you are saying--Do not get lacquer thinner on the rubber band most people call that a o-ring then you say put the nozzle that has a o-ring into a bottle with lacquer thinner I know I am confused.
I bought the Revell F18E level 4 super hornet kit. It was a total bust. Too much flash and nothing seemed to fit. Had to use a lot of putty to fill in the gaps. When I went to mate the upper and lower fuselage it wasn’t even close. I followed the instructions precisely. I’m no pro but I’ve done a Tamiya 1/32 Blackknight F-14 and it turned out well and I’m in the process of a F-16CJ block 50 and so far everything has fit really well. It’s going to need minimum putty work. I don’t know what happened to Revell, I hope it was just that particular kit. Props to Revell for promptly refunding my money after I sent the kit back.
You could use it to make the micro detonator cord attached to certain cockpit canopies that break the glass before the ejector seat blasts off. See a Harrier canopy for an example.
I got mine from Hobby Lobby too. I finally got it started recently. I bought an aftermarket detail such as the resin intake. That's the first thing I had to install the resin intakes. I had to use the rotary tool to cut the portion of the intake of the fuselage. I'm building the E variant with gunship gray color. The decal to used is an aftermarket with the 3rd TFW from Clark Air Base in the Philippines.
