Hey there Brent. I'm Andrew Harnett. Great pace on the tests. I can't conceive of going that fast. Even if I wasn't scared of getting bucked off on some g-out at 50 mph, I can't even identify the ribbon line that quickly.
consider dropping the location name from your header, keep it on the down low. The authorities google that name and get more evidence against us to close it for good.
I never really figured it out. I sold the bike and it sounds like the next guy was able to get it running okay. Not sure what he did. I told him straight up I'd tried all the obvious stuff. Good luck, really had me stumped.
@@TheAkers13 Sorry to hear it. Like I answered the other guy. I never really figured it out. I sold it finally and the guy who bought it seemed to have it running. He sent me a video of it. Not sure what changed. Maybe it was close to running and I just gave up. But I tried everything I could think of. Good luck!
Great racing man, super thank you for posting this. I've raced GH before, but never an SRA event, so this is wildly helpful. Looks like I'll try and make this Sunday's race. And love that your heart rate is on the video, what software or app are you running? Feel so much better seeing that it's 'normal' to run 175-185 for HR during a race:)
Hey David, Sorry for the late response. Haven't checked this for awhile. The SRA events are super fun. Definitely hard physically but the course is always different and they always add new interesting twists to the layout. If I recall I used the Garmin VIRB program for this. That makes the speed, map, and HR easier to populate. But I did have a really hard time getting the GPS data to match perfectly with the actual start of the race. If you look closely the speed starts before I start moving. I must have tried 10x to get it synced and that was as good as I could do. I'll probably use one of the free/cheap video editing programs next time. Yeah my average HR for an entire race is usually in the 170s. Anyone who thinks the dirt bike does all work just needs to ride one lap on one of these courses :) . . . Thanks for the props and have a blast racing.
I have seen this happen before on someone. You have to make sure your leak is at the bottom the tire when you put the sealant in. Then ride slowly for a couple miles "AFTER" making sure the sealant has been sloshed around in the tire next to the leak to seal it up. That Is the reason I suspect your tire didn't seal up.
Definitely not seized :) Why not throw a battery in there with some fresh gas and see what happens? Even a rough running bike will get you more than a non-runner. Anyways, take care, thanks for the video and good luck with the bike sale. Someone will grab that thing up for sure.
Looking for a decently prices set of adjustable rear sets(nothing from China) for my cbr600f4i. What are the brand on those? And are they still available?
Think this is my old bike. I have been considering getting another older TZ to compete at the Isle of Man Manx Grand Prix, the '93 TZ will be eligable for the Post Classic class. Please email me at wattsengineering@live.com
Thanks for the comment Luck. I'm in love with them as well. If I had more time I would still be racing this amazing bike. 220 lbs, 80hp, great suspension, and slicks. It's definitely worth trying! But better that someone who has the time and inclination put this great bike back on the track where she belongs :)
Bullet motorcycle. I'm in love with two-stroke motorcycles. I have a RD350LC (known in his country as RD350F). I wish I had money to buy this TZ250, because I know how fast it is. Good luck on sale.
