FPGA discords were popping and busy as hell, now it's nothing but tumbleweeds and the occasional vulture flying through.. maybe they were all bought out and forced into NDAs? Only making bitstreams for their masters now 🤮 I've said it before, the only good crypto algorithms are CPU algorithms. Anyone thinking of making a new coin should only use those.
I’m not trying to advocate for this, but what’s going on with Hoosat? It looks bad from the outside, but the dev is currently from what I hear, developing an FPGA resistant algo called Hoohash.
Only thing i can think of is someone got ahold of a data center maybe its a hacked server farm. Or this guy is really consistant with his huge operation
Oh I see why entity choose herominers, because it creates transparency. But if they deployed their own node and double spend... Well they have the power... This will be happening more and more in the future. Unless entities will start to fight among each other.
well... do not mine and hold any non memory intensive algo at this point because they all will get the same treatment from this "entity". mine to sell immediately or go for kawpow coins
When this happened to Radiant late April the hashrate went from ~75TH to ~200TH. The worst part is the coin price went from ~.002c and now it is ~.0007c. If this is the Entity I figure Pyrin price might drop around 65% in the next few months. I hope I am wrong! Would be great if the Pyrin devs fix this.
