I've stayed at the Lift Bridge Lodge since it was a Comfort Inn. Either there is a quiet time observed by the ships and bridge or that hotel has some unbelievable insulation.
Many times in the early morning or later at night the ships do not salute. There are exceptions of course, the Barker has saluted at all hours of the day/night.
NICE !! Good horn as well. Riding high out of the water. Curious do people know your cameras are there and they are being recorded. Kind of cool listening to them talking. Thanks Paul hope the camera is ok after getting splashed
The MV Isabelle G made her one and only Duluth Harbor Red Carpet entrance memorable. Awesome salute and great name for a Portugal flagged Italy bound vessel...⚓📣👍
Wow!!! Just so amazing!!! It is crazy how quickly it takes ships to get lock rash, What did you hear about the Joesph L Block? Do you think it will be back soon? Thanks Paul
She looks kind of funny, riding "light." I bet she looks real good, when she's loaded. Built for the Great Lakes trade, huh! Should see her in Duluth rather frequently, I assume. Would be nice to see her, or a sister, fully loaded!
