In warp 4 boss fight, stomach attack you can see line of attack right after he use it, it showes where safe zone is so you can move in advance. I notice not single runner know about that
I knew about that for years, trust me. Most people know how to read the telegraph, but what’s important is that you don’t need to dodge the chest beam most of the time. You only need to dodge it when you’re at low health.
Considering how terrible this game ran, maybe there's a good reason the Twinsanity GCN version was cancelled. I've played several good GCN ports (Such as the Tony Hawk games), but this isn't one of them. This was how I first beat WoC, but I didn't 106% it until I picked up the Xbox version.
Jesus christ, the GameCube port of this game is flatout fucking awful, I agrue that it's even 10x worse than the PS2 port of Sonic Heroes and X360 port of San Andreas. The redeeming qualities doesn't excuse how shitty the port went after both the PS2 and the Original Xbox came out.
@@_McHooper It's absolutely baffling because the GameCube can run games much better compared to the PS2 due to it's powerful hardware, this game however is the exact opposite because of Eurocom fucking up this port without having to polish the game properly.
GameCube indeed has bad framerate that hinders the overall speed of the game (text boxes take about twice as long to skip because of that, and the warp room teleporter moves about half the speed). I have a video on my channel that’s just me doing a 106% speedrun on the GameCube version, and it is indeed quite painful.
@@_McHooper thanks for explaining why you didn't do it here. But i meant something else. You said that if you won't to it here, you'll post in the description a video of that strat
Oh, that’s right. I can update the description at some point later today with the strat in action. It’s extremely hard and only worth going for in runs that are either about to die or tipping on the edge.
Nah, it’s doable on every release. For some reason when you trigger it, Crash gets stuck in the first frame of his crouch animation. I do it all the time in my 106% PB.
Yesterday I get all the platinum relics in this, but how you mastered the game is really incredible. Congratulations for your achievement. 👍 Greetings🇩🇪
Definitely. That Was A Nice Run And I Learned A Few Things About Wrath That I Didn't Know. Thanks To You. I Still Wonder If Wrath Is Gonna Get A Remake? If Not I Guess Crunch Will Forever Be Stuck In His Mr T's Phase@@_McHooper
The frame drops, dropped inputs, severe downgrade in quality (despite the gamecube having similar hardware to the Xbox/PS2 and more disc space) This is a very, very sad port lmao
It was a long and complicated process of modifying the music files to remove the 0.5 seconds of silence (sometimes more, such as Compactor (1s) and Banzai (0.7s)) on each individual music track, then zipping it all back up in the game files. I did this for Greatest Hits as well as the Japanese and Korean versions.
If you mean just getting all the gems, then 5, but if you literally mean 100% then you'd skip 6. Getting the true ending without at least 25 relics would be pretty difficult, though.
As lower quality as this port is and more, I can still tolerate with this as I have fully completed the game on this port quite a few times like with Xbox before. Still, makes me wonder how converting this all went and all.
Incredible, just incredible! At this point, 2:10/sub 2:11 might actually be somewhat possible, might. For now the deed is done, as I have been blessed with quite a few wonderful current world record full completion runs of Crash Bandicoot this holiday season. Also, a 106% run on GameCube TWOC sounds like a pretty interesting sub goal.
