You'd think a GameCube port of this game would be of at least equal quality to the PS2 version... well, sadly, reality is often disappointing. Played on actual hardware (Wii, which as far as I know doesn't make any difference as far as performance goes).
As evidenced, this port of the game is extremely underwhelming. The textures are all a lower resolution, the darkness effect seen in certain levels is no longer there, the music takes a while to loop (a problem which was fixed on Xbox, which this port was based off of), there's actually a legitimate control issue (holding X makes A unusable, leading to situations where quick slide jumps are a pain to perform), oh, and there's frame drops... **A LOT OF FRAME DROPS**. It's almost baffling how this port was even given the chance to be released.
