as someone who doesnt play guitar besides tiny bits of messing about on m8s instruments, its been doing my head in for months trying to tell what the interval in the solo from 3:46 is, because its my favourite moment of music ever written. I know big dave is a bendy guy but ITS ALL BENDS???? best solo on the planet uses 2 frets and b e n d . (at least the first half)
Hi there. If it's like a delay then It's most likely an issue at your end. Some devices/browsers can do weird things from time to time. It's definitely fine from my end... and no issues reported in the 300,000 views so far!
I agree it's almost embarassing to tell people you like Coldplay these days but in this era they were great. This album would calm you right down and put you in a good mood no matter what happened that day.
beautiful song, love Jonny's leads! i usually play the acoustic part with the high E tuned down to D, it's very subtle but I think I can hear it ringing out here and there. either way, great cover as always, Sparky! :)
such an underrated song, I remember only liking Song 2 from blur but as a fellow brit I decided to listen to songs like beetlebum (my new fav) and charmless man. Havent looked back since (thought I unfortunately don't like song 2 much anymore.
you are spot on, thanks. I am having a hard time findind a backing track with not to indicate when to start. The one I found has some incorrect timings, I run yours with the original and it is perfect. Would love to find a way to turn of the guitar at yours....thanks
@@SparkyGuitar Cool. It does sound great, v bright. Like yr playing. You're much better than me. I imagine it goes out of tune, easily. Robert was told by the engineer "Yr NOT going to play that guitar on the album", he bought a Jag, put the Teisco pick up in it and played that pick up, thru most of the takes.😆 He's a punk, thru and thru.
tuners were sometimes out ouf tune at those early times of recording / or the whole recording may have been entirely sped up because they thought it would sound better, like they slow down When the levee breaks
