A golf ball weighs MUCH more than a .22 and is about 15x the size. Could you maybe also say that the person holding the gun gets as much force transmitted from to them as the person who gets shot?
A jewish guy and an asian guy larping as upholders of gun tradition. Back to back penis jokes. Why am I not surprised????? Why are penises always on their minds?
one of the reasons this kind of armor was discarded was the tendency to sent the bullet to your side. And planting a bullet on your comrade's ribs is considered as a dick move.
IMHO the knife name is bad enough to hurt sales. Would love to see a silicon glove for the knife, so it is not a scape o magic on other items. It was one of your first points against your old edc, but not fully solved for what I see
I just bought a The FN PEN 2.0 LA620714689 with a lot of other wonderful stuff. Also it's sound interesting but tricky - using inside triangular armor smth that can spread energy more effective. My crazy idea - triangle kevlar armor with refreshable sand(or smth much better) plates. And main point - holes in top side of plate to spread sand -in your face- with bullet energy. Also another funny idea - 360° deflectable armor. take 2m long pipe with 3-5cm diameter, cut it in 5-10cm peaces and cut it in half to get U form. You can create and test few variants: bullet ->☽ or bullet -> ☾
Try rounded edges next time. Knights did have body armor to deflect bullets, but the quality of steel was poor back then, and firearms got better and better over time which made steel plate useless. They already make titanium plate armor for buhurt competitions I am curious how well that would do.
That pocket used to be for Pocket Watches. This I found out when purchasing a pocket watch and chatting to the salesman. It fits and you have that dressy little chain hanging around your waist.
Maybe you should check out the craft work on the Elizabethan Peascod Armour Breast Plate. Designed to turn the shot from those damned new fangled fire arms. Quite successful and I imagine as effective against modern weaponry to a point. The armour is a flatter breast plate upper but bulges into a belly plate down toward the waist with the whole lot sporting a curve from centre to the flank. The aim was so the shot strike did not deflect down into the legs or funnily enough your cods.
"without adding any weight" popular misconception, this is not quite how geometry works; tldr that's "a bit" more complicated but deflection part still works.
