im really confused about the combo i should pick by now that im really thinking of taking into account the cosmetics that are available and how the character looks and feels while delivering. thats why i consider longbow dagger the best dps choice. staffs in this game sucks as well as crossbows (in terms of cosmetics). i wanted at first to try healer wand staff where i could make one build with staff wand for solo playing, but i dont know if this combo gives sufficient dps to actually play solo. really dont know. why do u consider wand staff better than wand longbow in terms of healer class? only analizing healing capabilities or also cleanse and so?
id say both healing builds are equally good, its just that staff wand would feel more like a traditional healer class, then longbow wand. staff wand offers more in terms of DPS if you ever want to run few DPS skills, or go for a second healer build focusing more on DPS. overall both builds are S tier healer builds
New balance patch released today significantly buffed every single weapon in PVE only where majority of skills have increased boss damage. Longbow and dagger individually have been buffed the most, so Longbow + Dagger weapon combo is now S TIER in PVE.
I was really considering playing the game since I saw a few videos. But I just can’t be bothered with those bs limitations developers put into their own games nowadays. If I wanna sit down and grind dungeons for 15 hours, for gods sake, let me do it. But no, you can only do 2 a day of this, 10 quests of that, you can only get this loot on Tuesday but with a 1% drop chance and you’re only able to enter 4,5 times a day, and so on. Why are mechanics like this normalized? I can’t be the only one bothered by sht like that. Just let me play your game, why ARE YOU LIMITING ME?!?!?!?! 💀💀💀💀💀
@@weebwhisper there are infinite challenge dungeons that have no entry limit and are significantly more difficult. There is a lot of other content that can satisfy your needs when you fulfill dung limits. If there are no limits everyone could grind dungs and get the best gear in few days..limits are there to prevent this and have you grind everyday until you get the gear drops. The game is designed to be a long term grind, not a short term 24/7 grind. Theres always something u can do, and there nothing that is mandatory

As a player since day 1 in Korea, I agree with almost everything. All the popular weapons are well categorized, but I disagree with certain combinations that you consider unviable and that I saw implemented very well. For example, sword and shield with crossbow is being used in high level challenge dungeons as the tank with the highest possible damage to be able to pass these dungeons quickly and efficiently. They have a very good damage synergy. There are other rare combinations that, if well implemented, are also very viable. Anyway, experiment.
@@PeladoPalta i guess when you really think about crossbow paired with anything will be able to deal damage. But these were based on other 6 factors and not just chall dungs. Thank you for the input
@@FRESHY_GG Yes, but the video says that these combinations have no synergies, they don't tank and they don't do damage, which is far from reality if they are being used in the most challenging content of the game, such as challenge dungeons. A dagger tank doesn't tank more than a crossbow tank, and yet you classify it as a non-tank.
@@FRESHY_GG Maybe your sources are more accustomed to the normal and most commonly used combinations, but I encourage people to explore a little deeper into creating combinations.
@@PeladoPalta you cant always have perfectly balanced tier list. Some will agree some will dissagree, but overall not everyone is going to put a certain combo into S or C tier. Its hard and i really tried to find as objective way to go about as i could by including feedback from 15+ people about each combo. And the info i said about each combo are just my own words based on the results. Cause majority voted for crossboss sns B and C tier for tanky and defense.
What would you suggest, if i want to be a healer but I really like farming alone, grinding things :) Is wand+staff better for solo farming and grinding than wand+bow ?
@@davidkincses724 yea i think staff is generally stronger with aoe skills and farming capabilities. Bow is kinda more focused towards single targtet bursts with mediocre aoe
2:30 For GS/Xbow - Cold Warrior is an insane passive that provides nearly 300 Heavy Attack on Shocked targets which is basically always up on the boss. The standard Heavy Attack chance is roughly 29% - you add in Cold Warrior and that jumps to 41% which is huge. Heavy Attack is hard to raise and the strongest offensive stat - with the focus on HA from Staff and GS, they are fine compliments to the currently overpowered Crossbow. Other perks for GS/Xbow includes an unlimited mana pool and some extra skill boost damage (~70) with Vital Force. Crit rate is high enough where you are already penalized heavily with diminishing returns so that doesn't matter as much. Tier list right before Talandre probably isn't the best for people moving forward but I guess it's nice to have it there to look back on. Can't decide between this and Xbow/staff. The projectiles of staff is just too good synergy with xbow's selfless diffusion. Have static 100 heavy attack and 150 skill boost. (another 100 heavy attack but not reliable). Maybe, the deciding factor is on how bad xbow nerf will be..
@@kiraaaaaaaz hmm I don’t think there is much synergy with Selfless Diffusion since Staff does not have an off-hand attack. If you mean Mother Nature’s Prophet (Thorngale, old name) then yep, it is very nice but Talandre will be out in a few days anyway and people will have a general idea of most of the weapon combos figured out pretty quickly.
Do you plan on posting some of your gameplay for the game and showing us your progress through global release. Would really love to see gameplay of someone that has way more experience on the game
Staff and Xbow are very good currently in PvE. GS staff also works for PvE and is definitely not C tier. Xbow and Bow also work well for PvE. I'm not sure for what type of PvE content this tierlist is for, but many of these scores don't make sense. Having SnS dagger over SnS Xbow in PvE is ... Insane.
It's average score based on 7 metrics mentioned at the start which was decided based on average votes from veteran players and few casual to give unbiased objective opinion. For example if a build is S tier in single target damage, but B tier in AOE farming, the average for that build is A tier.
@@FRESHY_GG just because something is off meta doesn't mean it's bad. I bet a lot of people that rated these combinations never even played them or against them.
@@Elwendryll I explained at the start this exact reason. I based the tier list with efficiency of running a weapon in the main hand. So longbow + dagger, wouldnt be the same as Dagger Longbow. Otherwise the tier list wouldn't work. You generally don't want melee weapon in main hand, when running offhand long range. dagger is best as offhand, not main hand
@@FRESHY_GG ok. Then your main build is not the same, and is Longbow/Daggers instead. It makes more sense. I personally find that daggers main with longbow have very good synergy, for PvP at least, with binding, blitz... I just enjoy the sustain when farming PvE Solo or small scale without a healer.
Not sure if it’s been addressed already but you mentioned you can reach level 50 in under 6 hours just by doing the MSQ? How does that even make sense? I’m really excited for this game but shouldn’t leveling to max take a little bit of time so you can enjoy all the content in between? It kind of sounds like there isn’t much to do until you reach 50 and then just have to grind power and gear? Are they planning to raise the level cap? I’m sure they will since that’s the case with every MMO alongside new updates/expansions but I feel like there will be limited fun to be had if I can max level in a few hours and then just have to grind for gear the rest of the time?
level cap will be raised with the opening of new region later in august in KR and then for us when time comes. 6 hours if you tryhard speedrun, for the first time leveling players, it will be longer, especially if you watch cut scenes and cinematics for the story. could take a whole day to level
Remember AGS has to do business with AWS who are usually shit at responding to problems in a timely manner. So if someone at AWS failed to adjust service limits properly they’ll first blame AGS then take their sweet ass time fixing it. Many times the engineer will just ask you what the issue is even if it’s fully documented in the damn ticket. Then there’s the Intel issue. Intel lied about a bunch of their new CPUs which are basically broken if they’re stressed. They have been causing serious issues game publishers of live service games as servers become unstable when stressed and then crashes. Same for players of UE games. They see crashes on their side with 13/14 gen CPUs. So pray they can scrape enough AMD servers together for launch.
Most people expect that a fking monster of company that owns Amazon Web Services will have barely any problem with server issues, yet it's a piece of shit.
