Sax solo is the best part!

Musically it's really great but I don't like the female vocals.

So many versions of this one and they are all wonderful!

The constant squeaking of her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me, I can't stand it. Steven doing the chorus is the only way I can listen to it.

I hope she's doing ok. She's got a squeaky toy stuck in her throat..

This is a beautiful rendition.. The ambient bit at 5:24 is stunning, as is the bass & percussion during the preceding keyboard / sax solo section. I'm in love all over again. And, to boot, the man covered his own (previous) band. That's just great.

I miss all the musicians from PT. But I like the Steven Version too. His line up is not so constant. At PT it was different. But Ninet is amazing.

I suppose everybody is saying that they prefer the PT version because they heard it first. I have heard PT's version only few days ago and i think Steven's solo version is far superior. Generally i think Steven solo is making much better music than within PT. Don't Hate Me, PT fans :)

Great cover but not as wintry or haunting as the original in my opinion

The middle section when the sax kicks in reminds me of Gong. I prefer this version...great atmosphere.

No offense but the Porcupine Tree version is much much better! (Not saying this is not good) There's something different about it! That Colin Edwin bass during solo and the trumpets in the middle. All of those made it sound so good I could listen to it all day long!

mmh, no. I prefer the original & other live versions w/ SW alone... his voice is the essence of the song (her voice is not bad but not needed...)

This is good and there's nothing wrong with it, but it just doesn't move me like the original.

Ninet's powerful soulful Vocals light this song up.

I liked the live version of the current tour more, with SW doing all the vocal parts himself.

just bought it on a amazon download, based on being reminded by this post.. The internet is not wholly a waste for the artist.
