Top guy 👍🏻 First a quick question? How much is the cost of the kit? And with using only the panels to change the batteries (With England wether 🙄 ) How long do you think it would last if you are off grid? I Really enjoyed your video and thanks for sharing? Thanks my mate x
With the toilet probably not. If you moved the toilet into a slide out in the cabinet to the right of the shower then that may work for fitting the bikes. May need some other changes too like moving the shower head to the side wall but with a little design work I think it could be worked out.
An excellent series on van conversion, thank you! You did manage to stay well within the weight limit, but why did you not go with lighter materials for the structure of the build? Was it a cost issue, convenience or something else?
Be sure to use a closed cell foam for insulation. I know someone who used styrofoam panels (because it was cheaper). Even though styrofoam floats, it will take on water eventually.
@@MoserMakes I was just trying to drive the point home, for comment readers. Many amateur van builders have no real concept of building materials and their properties. All foam is not created equal. Spray foam is another. Here again foam products are not created equally. Nice series you have going. Thank you.
Question for you? How many circuits will the 300watt hour system hold? I.E. is it strong enough to allow enough output for a fridge, couple light circuits, 4-6 outlets, ect! This is by far one of the most helpful videos I’ve watched on electrical housing/wiring for a van conversion. Thank you
You have mad skills! Just beautiful. Much success to you. So young looking 👀 many blessing to you. Someone will have a well build home to call home.🙏🏚👍
Good job on the video. The question I have is I’m building a Party Bus. Or actually I’m redoing a Party Bus, Somebody previously did, and it’s not done very well. What I want to do is actually charge the battery bank with the alternator as I’m driving. I already have a Xantrex Pro FM 100 converter and I also have the Xantrex Inverter. The only thing I wanna know, is it possible to only charge the power bank with the truck alternator as long as I use isolators? I have two lithium 12v 100ah batterys I want to use for the bank. I don’t want to do shore power or solar power. I just wanna be able to have a driver drive the Mercedes sprinter in charge the power bank. As people watch TV and have some LED lights. And listen to the radio. It also has a pro air. I think it’s called air condition that I’m not sure if it’s running off the inverter or the converter. The system also had to battery isolaters. I’m new to doing this type of thing. But I’ve done plenty of Baxter battery radio car set up. So I’m hoping that I’m not getting in over my head with this. Thank you in advance.
I know your video is older but I will still be watching this series as a reference. I plan on buying a used Transit to make into a camper van & this video really opened my eyes to thoroughly check out everything before buying. Thank you for sharing your build & I can't wait to watch the rest of your videos.
step left out to make this video not so long.... dude its ok leave all steps in we know what we are clicking on when we search for this video. tutorials and walkthroughs are suppost to be long and covering ever tedious step. still good video more informative then the last few i watched
Thank you for excellent information here.. just have a question Idrive 18 wheelers tractor trailer… all I care about AC unit like split unit ..can work in system like yours and give me 8 to 10 hours … is it possible?
