So, here's my take on your breakdown. It was freakn awesome and for tha price you did all tha rite things. I personally think I would rather pay maintenance fees to keep my van home up than being stuck in one place. I'm gonna do my own built as well, what I have in mind will require some professionals to come in. This was a great deal of help thanks. Thumbs up and liked this one.

Hello Sam! First of all, thank you for your really well-made videos! I'm planning my own conversion at the moment and I'm still at the budget stage, which led me to your videos. I'm clueless when it comes to the electrical system (though fortunately, my father can help with that part) but your videos on the matter were soooo helpful and well explained, they helped me calculate my energy needs for what I want in the van for example, which I had a hard time doing by myself. This video is just as great. My build is gonna be a bit less expensive since I'm gonna buy a few things used / get them from friends and family members, some stuff I'm willing to compromise also, but it still gives me a really good idea of what to think about when making my budget. Also, I love that you go over safety and important details during your build videos. Things most people don't talk about. Overall, I'm really glad I found your channel and I hope you're enjoying your awesome van! You got a new subscriber here :)

well detail cost. Just as I est. Plus labor cost of $45/hr. You need to add your total hrs and non-recurrent engineer cost of one time charge (your design). So your van would cost of approx from $75K to $80K.

Vans are more expensive in America than the UK, cost ATM on eBay ,same specs as yours 15,000 dollers. I can't understand that as ford is American 😂. Great video 👍
Briar Smith and since it’s a DYI you won’t likely be able to recover your cost if you sell, also since it’s a DYI will your insurance cover the components let alone the value of your labor. Better off buying a class c which is all complete and totally incurable. Just my opinion.
Briar Smith in addition the van is a “commercial vehicle” you will have to go to your DMV and have it retitled as an RV, check with your state each one has their own regulations, you would want to do this for your insurance.

No you cannot, especially now that they are in such high demand, maybe you can get a 10 year old class B conversion for around that price but new ones, like a Winnebago travato are at least double what this van cost
