This worked for me on S22A350, The symptoms on my screen were a bit different. The screen showed the "analog/Digital" box on the top fine. The check signal cable, and menu, etc all fine. But as soon as I plugged in an HDMI/VGA cable, the screen would go black (the computer recognizes the monitor). I did the update as explained here and it worked!

i have a s24d390 doing the exact same thing only i can find the firmware file for the life of me!

How did you connect the monitor for the update? And to what/where? It is not clear.

Ok i got a UE55ES8090 and i been looking a whole week on youtube here for a solution, so last night i ran into your video my TV was doing the same thing. Luckily i had i cable left over a 20 pin i changed it and it works, great job Sir it was ment to be i was ready to buy a motherboard and a new power supply board thank you again.

Hello i have got problem get to the service mode if i press vol - and input button then i see K but if I pres vol - and chanell - nothing respond... I have tried more time and i get instead of K grainy picture as on 5:13 without service K . Please help

Thank you! done today on my LS27A550HS/EN. The hints is to reflash it thru VGA and not hdmi, as with VGA you can replace the firmware by the same one (in hdmi the application prevent replacing the firmware by the same version). Hardest thing is to find a PC with a native VGA port (seems it does not work with all PCs). Notice I have asked Samsung how to replace the firmware as not working in hdmi, and the answer was to send the monitor to Samsung's repair center with a cost higher than the price of the monitor...

The side buttons are turning this TV off.If you can help what to do? Thanks.

@ubuntutorials, I have a Samsung plasma with the clicky clicky problem,the clicks happen whether I pull y or x board, if I pull the board with the aux and hdmi's I get nothing at all. Do you think it could be the power board itself or something else?
