I hate that Kubo wasted Yamamoto on a cheap trick battle like this. He should have been there at least until the end because of his long history with Yhwach.

yamamoto would not go out like that man. even the captains who lost their bankai was still running fades with their shikais but nah plot makes it so when he loses his he just stands there and gets hit by yhwach. bs
All these years of hyping up Yamamoto and he gets cut down like a dog after falling for a trick a child wouldn't fall for. Guy literally says "you guys can't seal my bankai because you don't know how it works", to be fair it's revealed that wasn't the reason but still he THINKS that's the reason and he still shows it off. It's not like he had to use every part of it either, the impostor literally doesn't attack him once and he could have just as well killed him after using South with a regular attack rather than revealing North. Idk how a guy with over a thousand years of combat experience isn't able to tell something is amiss when all his opponent is doing is dodging his attacks to bide time, nevermind the fact that he is nowhere near the power level Yhwach should be which Yamamoto should know because HE LITERALLY FOUGHT HIM BEFORE. Don't give me that "he was angry" shit or other writing-for-the-writer-type excuses, the guy does almost nothing the whole series, then when he gets the chance to shine wastes his power going all out against a pleb, gets trolled, then just kind of gives up and dies after he gets his bankai sealed. Pathetic.
