Im a 92A but I graduated from Fort Benning(Now Fort Moore) because the army accidentally shipped my basic class to fort jackson during a non ship week(Big surprise, the army made a mistake) so I had to go through basic at Fort Benning and graduating as a POG. It sucked in the moment but god damn am I glad I have the training the infantry gave me compared to my POG counterparts.
Aloha Mr. Miller mahalo greatly for this video! Any time I tell folks about this they look at me as if it never happened. It surely did though my dad was one of the original 24 that died that day and amongst them he was one of the 1st to perish from the firey ball hurdleing their way! StaffSgt. Harry L. Momoa Jr, of the 82nd Airborne Division he was assigned to the 505th 3rd Battalion Charlie Company. Especially when I'm on Ft. Bragg I'm never gonna call it by its new name because he didn't die on Ft Liberty but Ft Bragg. Who cares if he was a Confederate general back in the day it's apart of our history as a nation and it shouldn't get swept under the rug because of its past transgressions of race and color! Regardless of that reason thank you again for this video hopefully more eyes get to watching and understanding. I was only a year old when my dad died so anything about that day I'm very much interested in! I hope to see it make it to 35 years because I'll be 36 then. This video made me cry and I'm not ashamed of it either. Knowing that there are some folks out there who do remember that day! May God or the Gods bless you
Very few individuals in the world can call themselves infantry. Roughly 1% of the United States of America's population can make the statement. It makes me proud to be able to call myself a grunt. Because a grunt can take anything, and it can dish it right back out to all my fellow brothers... INFANTRY, follow me.
Most people go for college and it is a job at the end of the day. If someone joins, isn't with the purpose of what you said, they join to earn money, and uses the benefits. These people, most of them young in the worst case scenario, will die for the interest of America protecting the way of like in the united states.
@-DIE-MOS-games Oh, you are using the palestian arguments. Anyways, those who join are for the benefit and to have a job. None join thinking I will go and kill babies wuahahahha and also protect epstein Wuahahaha. (That's dumb ) Speaking about Palestinian cause you brought the topic. No taking either side Jews are racist and intolerant and musulims, too. Some people can say october 7 Others 76 years ago and we can go back in time when that was part of Jordan or the kingdom of Jerusalem and the conflict of that was my land is endless. Also, no one is protesting for the Christian masacre in Africa that is happening right now. Israel is the only ally in the Middle East for the United States Meanwhile, during 9 11, Palestinian were happy celebrating the terrorist attacks. (There are videos) Is clearly which side they will take. Well, taking back my point Soldiers just take orders they are there to go and die. They are not the corrupt politicians they don't enjoy anything from the elite. They are just cannon fodder Don't insult the young people who want to further their education, benefits, or way of life.
@-DIE-MOS-games Oh, you are one of the palestian conflicts That ignore the Christian masacre happening right now in Africa and are launching anti us propaganda... Between Israel and palrstian, neither of them is the same october 7 , 76 years ago or even thousand of years ago Blah blah land conflict it was my, of it was my and still going.
@-DIE-MOS-games You are attacking the recruiter The one who joing and blame them for corruption that they don't enjoy. They are young people seeking benefits, a job and further their education
How do I remember trying to give you anything... I'm just glad you were triggered... it's a weakness in beta males... congratulations you're so average
To most of us that started our Army career at Benning, it will always be Benning. The only other acceptable name is Fort Beginning because that's were it all began for we Infantrymen.
How does the CSM, wearing a Blue Infrantry cord around his shoulder, if he did where is his CIB badge then. He proudly showing of his CAB award above his ribbons. If you wearing the CAB award I know you won’t be wearing the Blue Cord. I know I left the army 8 years ago. But I know the rules haven’t change or it may have. I know if you awarded the CIB you showing that off mor then CAB award. If that is wrong then the CSM is wrong from wearing either the cord or the award. If am wrong the show me in the AR 600-1 where it change. Guess no one stood up to you CSM and correct you in your failure. If a soldier done this then you will correct them and the whole squad and his platoon sergeant. The double stander. The higher you go in ranks the dumber you get.
Possible answer to your question. If he was in Div or higher in a combat zone, he wouldn't be authorized the CIB. He's wearing the old Class A uniform. I'm really guessing here, but if he were still on Active duty he would be wearing the Pink and Greens. He only has one tour of combat or at least less than 6 months in a combat zone. He has/had over 24 years in. The regulations change and the qualifications for the CIB and the CAB have changed as well. I did note that he's a leg, and doesn't even sport the EIB. Look at his rank, not even. So I could be defending a poser.
Yup he is a poser, I was a Drill, I know the reg. He is not authorize to wear it. I had cooks and supply sergeant breaching doors and they didn’t get a CIB or a CAB award. Most of all he is a poser.

Hey Kevin, miss working with you, and the magic Orange Slice machine. Don't miss the noise that afternoon which sounded like a very short round, even at the corner of Carrentain and Gruber, or the many formations that day calling out when the name of another Paratrooper had passed.
