Thanks for stopping by our channel! :) We are Sarah & Marek, a South African couple chasing a worldwide adventure.
We left South Africa in Oct 2020 with a limited budget and a desire to see and experience as much of the world as possible. We've been traveling internationally full time for over a year now (thanks to our 'budget travel' strategies) and the travel bug has truly bitten! 😄🌍
Join us as we explore the world and all its natural beauty, experiencing unique foods, places, and people.
In the last few minutes of each of our videos, we give a breakdown of our spending.
Thank you, guys. Very nice from you to visit MD and leave a video review. Next time, pls, make video about moldovan fruits and veggies, raw-vegans around the world will be delighted. 🥝🥝🥝
I can't believe youtube just randomly recommended me a video of two foreigners visiting a village that's like 20 minutes away from my home :D I know I'm 2 years late, but here's some fun facts from a local: - Nový Hrozenkov is located in a region called Valašsko (Moravian Wallachia). Because it's located in Moravia (and Moravia has had beef with Bohemia for centuries), people here are very sensitive about being called Czech/Bohemian, because we are Moravians dammit! :D - the "sweet pizza-like pastry" is called a "frgál" and it's not a traditional Czech pastry but a traditional pastry from the Valašsko region. The one that tasted like rum was probably made with pear jam (hrušková povidla). Other typical flavours are poppy seeds, plum jam or cottage cheese. - Czechia doesn't really use all-purpose flour. Instead, we have 3 types divided by the coarseness. The one you showed in the video was the semi-coarse one, but to be fair this one is the most used type - in the mountainous/foresty regions of the country, it is very common to have venison on the menu in the local restaurants. Especially during the hunting season in autumn/winter. Lots of fallow deer and boar meat everywhere. We even have a ball season at the beginning of the year commemorating the end of the hunting season. It usually has a raffle and you can win stuff from household appliances to a whole boar
We were never told that we had too much luggage so we can't really comment on how much is too much but as a general rule of thumb, a big bag each and a smaller back back is probably your safest bet 🙂 Georgia was the first country where we actually used Bolt and it worked so incredibly well for us! Don't know about Uber though 🤔 hope that you have the best time if you male it there 🥳
it's very normal to wear shorts in Tunisia, you didn't notice that they are not wearing long-sleeve shirts too ! It's winter , I know it's not that cold but we still feel the cold like you guys , you still feel the harissa but we don't !Much love , Welcome to Tunisia❤
Thanks a lot for promoting my beautiful city and Macedonia! If you visit Ohrid again, come to my shop (Escape rent a car) and i will provide you with a free scooter for one day to explore the area around Ohrid. Greetings from Macedonia
What do you mean you had expectations and it was nothing crazy? What did you expect to grow wings or to develop some sort of super powers. It is just free mineral water coming from a hot spring and it is at everyone's disposal. Let it cools out and drink it, it is definitely better than most waters especially compared to tap water.
A person starts looking at Batumi, and they realize the extensiveness of the planning of the community. In many respects, this outpaces Europe! Beautifully developing infrastructure, seaside community, and the prices are cheap. Wow!
I've have been visiting the Czech Republic (Navsi/Jablonkov) and Poland with my wife (who's Czech) for the past 10 years. It's gotten to the point where I know where to go without a GPS and some people actually remember me. One thing about the restaurants I have visited. Most do have a english version of their menus (just ask and see), or it is incorporated into the existing menu. Without a doubt the food is excellent and depending on what you order, it could be in large portions. Overall good time everytime we visit! Always looking forward to the next visit!
Bulgária é muito linda e muito especial para toda a Europa e tem magníficos lugares ótimos para se conhecer. Adoro tudo que vem desta terra doce maravilhosa.
That was sooo cool. I have to watch it again!! Wow! I would loved to have done something like that...but maybe lodge and food cooked!! I cycled around France 🇫🇷 with a friend in my 20s going from B&B which was great fun! Sorry Marek to hear about your ACL! I've had a replacement too for that...injured it skiing ⛷ hope all goes well. Loved seeing you both again. Love Rella ❤
Please mind that Germany is not Bavaria (by far not) and visit North Germany with its delicious fish plates and totally different people (althoguh their humor f.e. isn't evevrvyone's cup of tea), although it's good tea there.
Im born and raised in Ohrid. People like him are very rare. I feel like i have to apologize for him 😩❤. Dont let negative people ruin your time, this goes to everyone out here.
