Wish I would have been old enough to have explored my old school before it was demolished. Awesome to see so much left in place! It's good you managed to capture it.
C'est encore plus terrible maintenant car les personnes au mental dérangé se trouvent souvent dans la rue sans soins et abandonnés de tous, au moins dans l'hôpital ils avaient un lit, des repas et des soins
Local community centres could have used much of that equipment, tables and chairs, whiteboards, gym equipment. Chemistry lab should have been found a new home.
Truly incredible. I used to work there when there was a photography studio in the basement. That studio shut a fair bit before the rest of the store and was used as extra floor space and storage, pretty sure that's where you saw all those mannequins! It's so sad to see it closed down, but also fun to see it totally void of people and products. Thank you for the memories.
Van meidenpunk tot rock Wanda’s punk & rock begon eind ’78 als all-girl punkband en groeide in 9 jaar uit tot feministische (punk)rockband. Elpees: The Ideal, State of no Mercy (TAS records).
Another great exploration! Thank you for taking us along with you, your channel is my go to for urban exploration and abandoned places in the UK, the editing, professionalism and respect you have for your passion is off the charts and i appreciate the time and effort it takes to go to these places, which can't be easy sometimes and record history before it's gone. This channel deserves more credit than it gets! I will say, seeing the amount of resources and equipment left behind is upsetting, other schools in the local area could've benefited with extra supplies. I guess there was a million reasons as to why they decided to not give the building a second chance but again, at least any ex-students who went there will appreciate this walk through, a trip down memory lane❤️
How do you get in and out of these buildings/sites and ensure that what you are filming, and lauding as beautiful is not open for future vandalism and therefore destruction of the very thing you are sharing on youtube? Truely i am interested to know
I worked in this building, i remember it as roches stores with their distinct uniforms as a child and then it was my first job at 16 whilst it was debenhams - went back on and off - i'm 31 now and it's wild to see it from this perspective, pretty much the same just empty! Fond memories like running up that escalator as the last one still in the store after cashing up slowly then falling to hard at the top of it that my knee still has the scar today from the metal teeth. Helping customers with their fragrance, catching a glance at my first boyfriend walking past before he was my boyfriend when I fancied him, having lunch at the canteen... ❤
Fantastic vlog i love watching you guys, hoping you,ll do weekly vids again in summer 2 weeks is too long lol. Always worries me when security catch you but they seemed decent guys this week. Take care and thanks for sharing as always 😁
What a shame and a waste, thank god that you explored it before it was demolished. Can anyone tell me do they remove all of the fixtures and fittings to give them to other places that might be in need ? Also what about all the students work? Does that all just get gone with the building ? If so How sad. Glad you found this tho <3
I don't know about this particular case, but in my experience of the UK construction industry, demolition firms will have network of dealers who will come in and take anything of value. Depending on value, those taking materials often have to bid for them to get the work.
I think the theatre/cinema are one of my favourite types to watch as they can beautiful yet sad at the same time and you never know who might have visited during a run of a show
