I really hate this version of Quagmire. It’s one of the main reasons I stopped watching. All the main characters became really mean and unlikable, but him especially.

Quagmire is the perfect antagonist. He has zero redeeming qualities. He's every horrible person. 7:42 now he knows how they feel when he shts on them all the time.

Context: Brian was on vacation and Quagmire’s dad changed his gender into a female and name is Ida. And Brian’s the only one who was *unaware* that it was Quagmire’s dad. On one hand, I can’t blame Brian. But on the other hand, by looking at a video on Brian’s relationships and some other comments, why is he having dates with humans?

I think Quagmire won the conflict more than Brian. Brian had started to become more annoying & dislike by some fans as the seasons continued. The difference between Brian & Glenn is how they acted regarding their known children - Courtney for Glen vs. Dylan for Brian. Glenn ultimately tried to be a good father while Brian tried to gain fame for himself and stroke his ego more with Dylan's stardom, which cost them their relationship. Thus, Glenn had a long-term moral victory in the end while Brian only had a temporary physical one.
Funny, since while he did have points on Brian, a lot of those points can be turned around on him, along with quagmires other shitty traits. Hitting on Lois, wanting Lois, tried to have sex with Meg, have sex with younger woman, got rid of his daughter because she was disturbing his sex life, a rapist, and is in general a terrible human, as much as Brian’s a terrible dog.
