I like how the show used this as evidence of how brutal and unhinged Dany was, and contrasted her with Jon, the allegedly just and merciful alternative. Sure, she gave them every chance to surrender and save themselves, and Jon executed a literal child. But Dany used a dragon, so it's worse.
Man, people are still deep in denial about Dany. She was always mad, but you excused it because her cruelty was directed at the right people. This was not out of character for her. Read the books. She is evil, she was always evil.
I do hate the end of this show, but idk why this is “foreshadowing”. From the very first episode, we are told that any person in charge needs to make tough decisions, ie Ned Stark beheading the deserter that saw the white walkers
Tyrion openly questioning the Queen should have gotten him executed multiple times. Show went soft, in those times it was loyalty to the death. Totally screwed the ending.
why did they have to ruin her character arch. They could have still had the same ending if they built up to it better, she sacrificed so much to save everyone then within a few episodes killing everyone
Scrolled a couple down, this kind of hanging is not over in an instant, it’s long and takes minutes. Need to be higher for the neck to snap before it’s instant, but love this scene though dialogue makes up for it. so he would have gotten joy from the slow deaths.
This makes my blood boil, in the books Tyrion becomes one sick evil bastard and would definitely push for King’s Landing to be burned to the ground and be filled with glee, cackling maniacally as he searched for Cersei to rape her
