Wednesday (2022) is an American supernatural comedy horror television series based on the character Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family.
This clip shows Wednesday and Morticia at a late-night grave dig to uncover Garrett’s corpse. They are arrested for that, but Wednesday has enough evidence to get them all out of jail.
Starring: Jenna Ortega - an American actress who received recognition for her role as young Jane on The CW comedy-drama series Jane the Virgin. She had her breakthrough as Harley Diaz in the Disney Channel series Stuck in the Middle.

I still don't get why would they wanted to use nightshade (which, by the way, doesn't give that type of poisoning), since that was Goody's thing, as well as the name of the group who protected the outcasts. Wouldn't it have made more sense if they used another poison? Like, for example, aconitine, the one that could have done a poisoning like that one Garret had?

I like to think it was the Gate's way of saying fuck you to the outcasts. They were probably taught about the outcasts via passing the info down to each descendants. They knew about the Nightshades society and their role to protect other outcasts. So the night they went to poison the school they used nightshade as a form of cruel irony.

Probably some form of "poetic justice" in Gate's eyes. People out for revenge, or people wanting to destroy what they find inferior or depraved, typically involve that in there plan as a form of power-play, for lack of better words. I had a similar style back when I used to play Assassin's Creed 2, I was often killing Templars and guards with their own blades. Good times, if I'm being honest here, lol.

You got your shovel for basic digging, you got the pickaxe for tombs, you gotta have some dynamite in case it's cemented thoroughly. Can't go wrong with a lockpick set. Modern gravesites often requires some sort of code to get past certain locks too, so a fingerprint scanner, chemicals, thermite, gloves, respirator mask, a plastic bag full of random hair for DNA shenanigans, dog treats in case the gravesite has guard dogs, chloroform for the guards, holy water in case you run into ghouls, salt for ghosts and of course, snacks.
