Nice video but the caption/description seems like you got triggered and taking shots at the other cities. What should be noted was in the beginning of the video, Gilroy is self proclaimed Garlic Capital of the World. In just the last few recent years Gilroy was exposed to show they do not even grow that much Garlic. The data is out there and FRESNO is the real/true Garlic Capital as they GROW the most garlic in the nation. Gilroy and Santa Clara County which Gilroy is located in, only grows a small fraction of garlic compared to Fresno. For decades Fresno just never cared for the title and let Gilroy roll with it and let is use it to thrive with the festival for decades. Apparently something happened to set the truth and combine that with unfortunate events recently, here we are today. There is no beating around the bush, FRESNO GROWS THE MOST garlic in the nation--possibly the world. Please do not feed the audience and the public false information. Gilroy might PROCESS THE MOST, but they do not grow it and without the growers, there is no garlic for Gilroy to process. Now what the audience and Fresno's metro population of over 1million want to know---why does Gilroy-specifically Christopher Ranch, continue to dodge and never give Fresno its props for this fact. At this point not doing so just makes Gilroy and Christopher Ranch bad since many other sources and news have verified this.
Christopher Ranch's growing region spans up to 100 miles away from Gilroy, CA. Every single bulb of garlic grown after harvest comes to our home ranch to be cleaned, sized, packed, stored, and shipped. This means that at any point in the year, Gilroy is the city with the most garlic. So even though there are other cities that may grow more garlic, Gilroy remains the Garlic Capital of the World.
